"I was very impressed with Patrick Stollenmaier and his crew. Patrick was very helpful, giving us alternative choices re materials to use for the patio and design. The price detailed exactly how they would execute the job (very helpful when a design has to be approved by the condo committee, as ours was!) He and his entire crew showed up exactly on time every day and worked until the tasks scheduled for the day were complete. They were very professional and polite and answered all of our questions or referred us to the crew member who could. Each day, they left the work site neat and clean. We love the patio and walkway that they created for us and neighbors have gone out of their way to tell us how much they like it, too. My only complaint is that initially Patrick was a little slow getting the price quote and project sketch to us. However, the fact that the crew showed up when they said they would, did the work in a completely professional manner, and finished the job on schedule far outweighs that complaint. "Hired ZR Landscaping to rebuild a retaining wall with paver patio that was poorly installed just four years earlier by another contractor. Zach diagnosed poor drainage behind the wall as the reason the wall base was washing out. Zach had a detailed, competitively priced written proposal to me in under 24 hours. He offered to reuse some of the existing blocks to reduce the total cost. Our project was scheduled just a few weeks out, not months out like a couple other contractors had proposed. The crew was punctual and very hard-working for a solid four days. Crew leader Julio answered all our questions and kept us informed through of each level of the new installation. "Absolutely one if the most professional companies I've experienced. We hired another company to build a retaining wall, add a sidewalk & steps in our backyard and we're ripped off. The other company did very shotty work and after getting half the money he never returned. ZR came out, gave suggestions on what would look good & would help with drainage. The showed up on time the next week, worked all day for 4 days & did beautiful work. They had a Project Mgr and Foreman who made sure the work was done & we were completely satisfied.
