"XtraCare Landscaping renovated our backyard in NW DC. We had a Firepit and patio installed, repaved the parking pad, new fence installed and remaining yard landscaped. Everything from the initial meeting to the final walkthrough was great! The design team worked with us to create exactly what we wanted. CJ, the project manager, along with Milton and his crew were very professional and a delight to work with. They explained the process and answered all our questions. They went the Xtra mile to make sure we were completely pleased with every detail. The materials were top quality and the end result is beautiful. Once the hardscaping was complete landscaping came in and added the final gorgeous touches with the trees and plants we selected. "Existing plants (azaleas and iris) were moved and replaced without a problem. Carefully worked around old wisteria vine without issues. Wall was installed exactly as expected. Encountered unexpected problems with plugged existing drainage pipes which needed to be replaced. This was done at a minimum of extra cost and the replaced drainage system was better than the one originally in place. This understandably delayed completion of project by about a week which was otherwise on time and within budget. Staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and accessible. I definitely would use them again."

The previous homeowners had an unsightly mix of bushes and shrubs, a brick wall that cut into the usable yard space, and stone/rock work that didn’t match the brick patio. Lily and her team removed everything, fixed the area where the patio had been damaged by a neighboring tree, laid a new brick path matching the existing patio, and plant new ground cover in the yard. Lily listened to exactly what we talked envisioned and made it happen!! Our yard looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier. The price was also very reasonable and the work was done promptly. "This company rebuilt a badly deteriorated cement-block retaining wall which supports my elevated driveway, repaired numerous concrete sidewalk cracks and a crumbling step, replaced an ugly, old, insecure chain-link gate with a beautiful steel door, and installed attractive brick borders around a couple of small garden spaces (after also cleaning up those weedy spaces). The price was more than fair; I'm very pleased with the work, timeliness and charming personality. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."
