"I recently scheduled removal of two large trees at the front of our business alongside Sparkman Drive here in Huntsville with Ware Tree Company. Mr. Ware gave me the best quote for the job after getting estimates with four other tree removal services. We had to slip the original date of 8 July we agreed to because of heavy rains over that week plus Mr. Ware had several emergency calls due to the storms. We agreed on the following Wednesday 15 July. Mr. Ware and his team of two arrived on time at 0900 today and began work immediately. They were very accommodating for patients and visitors parking at our business by carefully arranging their trucks, chipper and flatbed trailer carrying their stump grinder & small front-end loader tractor. I was personally impressed by the team's expertise and safety consciousness. They quickly trimmed off lower branches on both trees, then used their man lift to access the larger tree's upper branches. Mr. Ware used care, wearing appropriate fall protection gear while on the man lift and dealing with traffic during removal of branches that extended out over Sparkman. After reducing the first tree to its bare trunk, they moved on to the second tree, likewise removing its branches by extended chainsaw and the man lift. Again, safety was paramount with the second, slightly smaller tree where the team took care to keep branches on the sidewalk only or back onto the business property. Most branches were fed to the chipper. The remaining branches and tree trunks were cut to manageable sizes, arranged into a pile by the roadside with the front-end loader. As they ground the two stumps. Mr. Ware used another truck to pick up the roadside pile of branches and trunks by a large claw and load them into its large debris container. The team finished up by cleaning up all leaves and loose debris by blower and raking. The team completed all work by about 3:00 PM with only a short lunch break. As the two trees were large originally, everyone was greatly impressed how well they did the project. We strongly recommend Ware Tree Company for your tree removal needs. Mr. Ware and his team were a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job for us."

"Green Matters is either too busy or understaffed. It took MONTHS for the work to be done. Further, while eventually the work was mostly completed, to include replacement of SOME of the plants that did not survive, there is still remaining “warranty” work that I have simply given up on being done. That said, I really like the owner personally, and as poor as this recent experience has been, I also used Green Matters in prior years with superb results. So, I am very disappointed, but there is more work I would like to have done, and would give Green Matters another chance IF very firm, inforceable commitments were made. And for that to be acceptable, I would require the work to be done with only a very small upfront payment."
