"The repairs, the clean-up, and the pleasant experience exceeded my expectations. A large oak tree fell on our roof, breaking through roof rafters and ceiling joists with branches in the bedroom. It is an older house with loose fill insulation in the attic. As soon as the tree was removed, Steve's crew covered the gaping hole with a tarp and did the interior carpentry to replace the rafters and joists. They also cleaned up in the bedroom everyday so that I did not have to call a clean-up company The entire roof and chimney flashing was replaced. The estimate that was provided for the repair was not questioned by the insurance company, It was a pleasure to deal with Steve. He is pleasant, and always responsive to phone calls and emails. My first experience with Steve was at my daughter's newly purchased house to waterproof a stone chimney. Her "house inspector" said that the two color stone was because they came from different parts of the quarry. Steve correctly diagnosed that a new cap was needed and that water was seeping in from the top. Problem solved- the stone dried up in a couple of weeks and is now the same color on the whole chimney. He is most professional and knowledgeable and the job was performed timely, efficiently and with very minimal inconvenience. The workers were fast and efficient and cleaned up amazingly thorough. The old shingles had to be removed, plywood placed before the new shinlges were installed. It made for a lot of hard work and created a bit of a mess. However my yard, patio and pool area was in perfect condition at the completion of the job. They even crawled under the bushes to gather and remove any fallen material. "I decided to have my roof inspected and replaced (if necessary). I had several companies come look at the roof and I decided on Brothers. After the inspection I was told it had to be replaced and I was given a presentation where I was told everything that would be done, I made a few decisions about materials and colors and gave him a deposit. It took 3 weeks because of other work they were doing and then the weather but they came and took down the roof the first day then came back and put on the new roof on Day 2. They worked nonstop both days and cleaned up the mess before they left. My new roof looks terrific and I am very happy with it. That was the good and now the bad. When I got my estimate ($9500) I was told the only other possible charge was if they had to replace any roof panels. I asked worse case scenario and he said all 65 panels would have to be replaced at $65 each (after 5 free) or $3900. I asked how likely that was and he said that he just completed 2 roofs and hadn't replaced a single panel. So of course 15 minutes after they start he tells me they have to replace all 65 panels. When he came by a few days later for the balance I meant to ask him about my discount but I forgot until after he left. I texted him but my text messages went unanswered until I sent an email to the company and I got a phone call within the hour. I explained that I paid $12,900 after a $500 discount but it should have been a $1,000 discount (website says $1k on projects over $10k). First they said that they gave a $9500 price so the $3900 additional cost doesn't count! Then he changed directions and said that he charged me $65 per panel instead of $75 per panel and when I told him he charged me what he quoted me, he said it could have been $75 per panel. It was obvious that he was going to say whatever he had to say to justify not giving me the discount I was entitled to. Bottom line: Make sure you get all charged and discounts in writing. I was disappointed in how they ignored me for days then gave a poor excuse. I said I would hire them again BUT if I did I would get everything in writing upfront!"

"Danny and his team did a great job, were very friendly, and finished on time as promised. In addition to built-ins in the living room, we also had radiator covers and baseboard installed. The built-ins and radiator covers were completely custom and Danny and his carpenter, Jaime, were great in providing recommendations for both functionality and styling as well. We were especially thankful when we ran into an issue with the baseboard. Unfortunately, the baseboard we selected did not cover the cork in all places. With over 80% of the baseboard installed (including moving and returning all furniture), Danny offered to install shoe molding which would cover the exposed cork. A change like this certainly would have been an opportunity to get additional money out of us, but Danny offered to install at cost which was just a couple hundred dollars in more than the originally quoted price. We would definitely recommend Danny, Jaime, and his entire team to anyone looking for quality work."
