"This was the second home inspection we had done by John Mielke of Pristine Inspections. Both were very thorough, and John took his time explaining everything to us in great detail. Because of roof problems John discovered on this inspection, we asked the home sellers to repair a portion of the roof. John came back and re-inspected after the repair, and was still not happy with the roof. The sellers ended up giving us a credit for the roof, and we repaired it properly after buying the house. Thanks to John, we were able to get a potentially serious problem addressed by the sellers. Very happy with Pristine, and would highly recommend."

"The workers were on time and each day they made sure that the area around the house was cleaned up.They did some repair on my chimney which turned out better than I expected. Chad did a wonderful job explaining what needed and not needed to be done. He was always available when I had questions . I would recommend them to anyone needing any roof repairs."

"After accepting their very fair proposal and mailing it, they called me the day they got my signed acceptance and asked if they could come out the next day. He said they would arrive at 6 a.m. They did! They tore off the old roof and replaced it with a new one. They did a great job and were very conscientious. Everyone I asked recommended them and now I will also recommend. They were very professional and left no messes whatsoever. Would definitely use them again!"

"This is the second house we've had a roof replaced by The Roofing Dog. This time we only needed an attached garage re-roofed. They did not try to sell me a re-roof for the whole house even though it could've used it. I only wanted the garage done, and that's all they did. Great job on the installation and the customer service. They recommended a saddle be installed in the roof behind a chimney, and no other roofer had done this during the 40 year life of the house. They even offered to let us throw some of our trash into their dumpster. They also replaced one piece of gutter and downspout, and that was fantastic as well. Very happy with The Dog on both roofs they've done for us."

"We had a great feeling from the moment we met John during our consultation and, even though Promax was a little more expensive then our other options, we chose Promax because John was just as excited about the project as us and we knew we would get great quality. The original estimate for completion was three weeks, but it took two weeks and two days. The last two days were only needed due to a design decision delay on my end. If I had made a decision earlier, I feel confident all of the work would have been completed in 2 weeks. <br /> Promax does most of the work themselves, but they do sub-contract for some of their services. Geno was in charge of our project and he did an excellent job communicating when people would be here and any changes/updates that needed to occur. Every single person who came to our house was friendly and professional. Everyone cleaned up after themselves and they dealt really well with our two cats and our two small children, who were here for the last two days of work. <br /> Promax is not necessarily the least expensive option, but I believe that you get what you pay for and the quality of work that we have is amazing. We get so many great comments on everything that has been done and we have a lot of people ask us for contact information. I am hard pressed to find one piece of the renovation that is my favorite, but the 7 foot wide barn door that Promax built and installed is truly stunning and quite the masterpiece of our basement. <br /> I would most definitely recommend Promax to anyone who needs renovations done and when we plan any work in the future, I know exactly who we will call first."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"They indicated it would would be 2-3 weeks before job could start and then called a week later to indicate they would start the job. They said they would put a haul away bin in the driveway but did not do so before the work began. So they laid tarps over my day lilies and shrubs - it was quite a mess and broke some of the lilies. Bin arrived toward the end of the work day on Friday. I wasn't aware, arrived home late Friday how much work had been accomplished but in the morning found that the majority of the roof was covered in felt but not tarped - we had weather prediction for rain over the weekend. <br /> <br /> I thought they would return Saturday, but did not return until Monday (light rain over the weekend). On Monday they arrived around 9am but before they could get started, another bad storm blew in and it rained hard all day. When I went home for noon lunch I found water all over my oak floor in the den and a constant drip from the ceiling overhead. After mopping up the mess and putting out a bucket to catch the water, I called and informed them of the problem, and reminded them I had asked about tarping the roof. They indicated they would fix any damage and came out around 1:30 to inspect and went up on the roof to tarp around the fire place chimney and seal the area where the water was now coming in (roof had not leaked with old shingles. I was replacing my roof as a preventative measure.) <br /> The felt was soaked and had ripples in it, and when I pointed this out they said I didn't need to worry because you can and quot;roof in the rain and the felt would dry eventually.and quot; The next day they came back and finished putting on shingles over the wet felt. They also had to go up into my attic and remove the wet, damaged insulation and then go to the hardware store to get the replacement insulation. I had to vacuum after each trip into the attic so that my dogs would not accidentally eat any small insulation pieces. They offered to spray the ceiling (where water leak was) but I said no I would wait for it to dry and then paint it myself. <br /> They came back the next day to clean and asked where the haul away bin was. I told them the operator had shown up at my door around 8am to remove it, I told the operator I didn't think they were finished, but he said he had directions to take it, so I moved my car from the driveway so he could haul away the bin. When 2 of the roofing crew came at 9am, they asked me where the bin was and I explained they guy had picked it up. The roofing crew was upset because they had stored their ladders and some of their tools in the bin. They asked if they could borrow one of my ladders to finish the clean up while they tried to get hold of the wasted hauler. The roofers cleaned up for the most part, but I am still finding an occasional roofing nail in my drive way and garden beds as I clean up leaves and weed. There were also pieces of shingles they missed that had fallen in the flowerbeds. <br /> The roof has not leaked and seems to be fine. The finished look is good and I am satisfied with the final outcome. <br />"
