"This was for new membrane and composition roofing from hail damage. Rhino Roofing roofed approximately 10 homes in the neighborhood.. I believe we were the last job. I also believe his crew was getting pretty tired. Very professional up front. Explained how meticulous the company was on the job. We were gone during most of our roofing project, approximately 6 days. They were almost done when we returned. A little of the roof was left to do and they were just starting the ridgeline and hips. Our home's roof had a "decorative" architectural touch to the hips. It didn't appear this was going to be replicated. I talked to the company owner about how the roof would look when it was done, mentioning the added height on the hip shingles and he assured me the roof would look exactly like before. I saw before they were done the roof was not going to look like it did before. I called the owner. He told me he wasn't certain that shingle was made anymore, he could do the raised look but he would charge me more than the original bid. I later found out that it was no special product, it was ridge ventilation material. The same they had used on our ridgeline. He apologized but did not offer to make the roof appear as it did before even though he had previously assured me it would. After the job I found what looked like asphalt scrapes and marks on the siding of our home. Also saw one of our gutters was sagging and damaged. Very obvious since it was on our driveway side. He sent one of his men out and he was able to repair the gutter to where it had little appearance it was damage. There had been a crew out earlier that morning to clean some of the gutters they had missed, I had to call on that but I think the damage was done during tear off. The next day I was looking at the roof again. I found several areas where the siding had been pulled out, probably to put new flashing on, but not put back in place. I took care of this. Took me about half a day. Roof looks good. Just hope it performs well. Pretty disappointed all in all. I was lied to. Doesn't set well with me."

This happened twice. "I have extensive landscaping (no grass) in my front, side and rear yards and one of my concerns was that the removal of the old shingles and the installation of the new roofs be done without damaging my plants. I discussed it with co-owner Will Malone and he told the crew that they must be extra careful to do the job without damage to the landscaping. They arranged drop cloths and barriers to contain any falling roofing material and they worked very carefully in removing old material. There was no damage to any of the plants and ground cover thanks to their diligence. The crew was always polite and neat. The final cleanup was excellent. <br /> Certain areas of the roof needed metal work: a small opening in a dormer wall needed to be covered; the area around a dormer fan needed to be enclosed with metal, etc. One of the crew members did all the necessary metal work with neatly and skillfully; very pleased with his professionalism. <br /> Also appreciated was the fact that crews are not allowed to bring / play radios while working. That means a much quieter day for the home owner. <br /> Will was always responsive to phone calls, questions, requests before and during the job. He provided a complete packet on the materials that would be used, a list of recent customers with their addresses and phone numbers for me to check, the company's insurance and licensing information, etc. The job was done excellently, and co-owners Will Malone and Chad Jacobson were open, honest and forthright in all their dealing with me. "We had two stick outs one in the front and the other one in the back. The south facing one was the one at the back of the house was blistering. I think we had 30 years old shingles put on the house and those shingles were south facing so they were getting all the heat. They were deteriorating. They got a deal on a 40 year old tile that matched our existing color and design. It doesn't look like there is anything except for the broken shingles that were at their lives end and falling apart so we were very happy with that. They came when they said they would. They cleaned up everything. Their prices were fair. There were three men who did the job and now everything matches up and looks good. They put down a carpet and garbage cans to catch everything that they were taking off and rolled up everything too. They did a really good job in cleaning up. They were mindful of being careful. They had good safety precautions because there were places where they could have fallen off working on the roof because there was a patio cover that was right there. They had to walk on it to get to that section of the roof. They worked well together because people on the roof gave directions to people down below. They got the extra stuff that they needed and it looked like a fairly well run outfit. They were very professional."
