"Local company. Recommended by both neighbors, with one getting their roof done the previous month. Original roof, and coming up on 25+ years of wear. We started to get ceiling leaks. Savaras was quick to answer the call. They scheduled a visit within the first week. I knew and they knew it would be a complete re-roofing. They gave me a detailed estimate, and responded promptly whenever I called or emailed for questions. I also had a couple other companies give me estimates. When it came down to Svaras and one other competitor (both on Angi with 4-stars and 25+ reviews, I exchanged estimates with them and asked what they liked & didn't like. Svaras gave me the most honest opinion. That and their cost was significantly cheaper. The materials they used were the same for all other competitors. Not much else to say there. The job was executed less than 2 weeks after signing the contract. They did it in one day. Again this is a 2-story house with an attached 3-car garage. The crew was all said to be local. I have security cameras around the perimeter. With all the footage, and me peeking out from the house, they worked hard. All day, with a lunch in between. Cleanup is the only area I can't necessarily give a perfect 5/5. I am certain they did a good job for the most part. They laid tarps to collect all disposal. And they brought a 7x14 trailer to throw it all in. It was on the contract they would magnetically sweep for nails daily. There were still plenty of nails that I can see with the naked eye on the driveway and deck. Since it was a 1-day job, my mind thinks it wasn't the best sweeping because it would have happened at night. It would have been exceptional to see a followup sweep the next day. Total Cost: $10-$13k"

"My overall experience was exceptional. Carlos of Blue Sky initially came to my home and spent as much time as needed in explaining the repair or replacement alternatives with me and was very considerate regarding my specific roof concerns and financial constraints. He was very patient in helping me make the best decision and allowed me some promised flexibility after the work began. The Blue Sky team that performed the work over the course of a week were diligent and showed-up ready to go everyday. The end product was excellent. There was also some incidental damage caused due to a severe rainstorm during the work week that couldn't have been prevented by the Blue Sky team, however, Carlos took the necessary steps to timely restore the slightly damaged area to a condition that was better than before the rainstorm occurred. Very commendable. Overall a professional and dedicated group, which I would strongly recommend from both quality of work and cost perspectives!"

"Casey came on time (although a little early) on his first visit. He did a thorough inspection of the roof , first with me from the ground, and then he climbed to the roof for a closer look. He also checked my attic. He gave me what repairs are needed (renail some lifted shingles and replace ridge vent shingles) and gave me a quote later that day. Casey was accessible by email or phone for any further questions. On the scheduled day of work, he dropped off materials and gave instructions to his roofers. He stopped by the next morning, climbed up the roof to inspect the completed work to make sure nothing was missed and removed the garbage bag of replaced shingles. Overall, Casey was very polite and answered any questions I had. He was also thorough with his inspections. The work was on the expensive side but I felt that it was worth it based on the quality and the service and advice provided. I will be calling him again for roof inspection and roof replacement."

"I could not recommend Mariusz and Holda Construction more highly. All communication was friendly, prompt, and professional. We contacted them about a leak in our roof and within the week had an inspection, explanation of the problem including photos, and quote for repairs. Everything was explained thoroughly and I never felt like I was being lied to for the sake of upselling - I was even given a discount when they realized one part of the repair wasn't necessary! "We just recently hired Hefferan Roofing for the second time since we purchased our house in 2014. The first time was to put on a new silver coating on the part of our roof that was a flat rolled roof, and this time to finally replace the whole roof of our house and detached garage since we knew it was on its final days and was missing a couple shingles, including all new gutters, fascia, and soffit. The house is a split-level, where half has shingles and the other half is a flat roof, whereas the garage is all shingle. The first time we hired them, I was impressed with their work and professionalism (not to mention cost). This time, I was impressed even more. We had four different roofing companies come out to give us an estimate of the work a couple weeks back. I came across Hefferan originally due to recommendations from two neighbors on my block, and wanted to get a few other estimates to compare. In the end, it came down to two, but I decided on Hefferan because of their openness and honesty that I felt was a step better than the runner up (and much a lot better than the other two), as well, surprisingly, even being on the more affordable end. Because of this, we were able to get a little more done that we wanted, that we were expecting to not be able to afford this time around. Mike at Hefferan was more than happy to answer all the questions I had, and really spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were happy. He was also very quick to respond by phone when I later thought of other questions to ask. He assured us that unlike many other roofing companies in the area where it takes them days if not weeks to finally complete replacing the roof (and often requiring them to leave a large garbage bin in the driveway for days), his team could have both the house and garage’s roof not only removed, but completely replaced the same day! Though I was skeptical, he was right! They showed up just as expected at about 7am on the day we were scheduled with 9 workers plus Mike. Astonishingly, they were all packed up and driving away just before 1pm! They were very methodical; you could tell they’ve all been doing this a long time and all know their “stations” and what needed to get done. They were thorough with the cleaning as well, and Mike came and went numerous times throughout the day to ensure everything was going as expected, and even jumped in himself to do some of the work. He was also great in double and triple-checking all the work (for the roofing, as well as soffit, fascia, and gutters), and even was proactive in telling one of the guys to redo a bit of soffit work that wasn’t up to par to his standards. They set the expectations that the roofing work would be finished in one day, and that all the aluminum work would be done in a following day, and they met the set expectations. When Hefferan came out to give us a quote and show us different shingle coloring options, they even supplied a sheet of paper with dozens of addresses (double-sided!) of recent work they’ve done just in Mount Prospect alone, so that we could see what each color looked like in person. To wrap up, I highly recommend Hefferan Roofing for any of your roofing needs. Whether that’s maintenance of an old roof, replacing a flat roof, shingles, fascia, soffit or gutters, they can do it all and very efficiently and professionally. And even without breaking the bank. They’re very reasonable and competitive, and I can only speak very highly of Mike and the whole staff. You won’t be disappointed."

They delivered the supplies on time and arrived at 7AM as agreed on. They completed all the roof replacement in one day and cleaned up all the waste materials when finished. They returned two days later to replace all the gutters and the window shielding. The workers were great answering any questions I had and the on-site foreman Rob did a great job keeping me informed as to the flow and status of the work. I am extremely satisfied with the job done."
