Customers say: Quick response

"I hired ESV, Inc. to install a new range hood, and a install new light and switch in the master bedroom closet. In addition they fixed two light boxes in our town home's basement that were not properly connected with electrical boxes. From the moment sent my inquiry to when they left, the communicated effectively the estimate and scheduling of the visit, were on time for the work, and their two electricians that came to do the work provided exemplary service from start to finish. I'd hire them again in a second."

"Very happy with Joseph and his assistant's electrical work. I used the 2hr deal (or 1 hr for two guys). After scheduling through texting, Joseph showed up on time and took a quick look at the scope of the work and whether it could be done in an hour. He said, "we can make it happen" and off they went. They worked quickly and efficiently and it was definitely a two person job as they had to thread wire around some wall studs. They finished in about an hour, cleaned-up, gave me a bit of advice, and drove off. Very professional. Everything went as smoothly as I could have hoped. I highly recommend Nasr Electric."

"I first got in contact with CoreTrade back in April to install wall sconces in my newly remodeled kitchen and to get a quote to add new wiring for my upcoming kitchen fridge unit. What was supposed to be only one project turned into using them as my main electrical go-to company for multiple projects on my newly purchased home in McLean, Virginia. As a type A customer, I was very pleased with their professionalism, respect of my home and attention to detail. From April through July I happily spent $7,000 on electrical services from switching out over 50 light switches and receptacles, to replacing chandeliers in my kitchen and dining room, fixing a chandelier in my office, installing a chandelier in my guest bedroom, removing wires in the back of my home, installing over 20 brand new LED lights in the gym and laundry room and other upcoming pending projects. I’m extremely picky and meticulous, so to say CoreTrade is the best electrical company in the DMV is no small fret!"

"Steve from Cody Malone was phenomenal. Not only did he expertly install new lighting (heavy stuff, too!) but offer clever suggestions on how to add new wiring to install a new light over our kitchen stove, install new wiring and new light over our fireplace, add new wiring for a new outdoor light on our deck, and install new outdoor landscape lighting. Oh, he also repair/replaced our fluorescent lights in our basement that were intermittently going on and offer. I would hire Steve in a heartbeat for any electrical job. He really knows his stuff and his pricing was fair if not the best for the fantastic job that he did."

"I utilized Angi to obtain estimates for install of a GFCI outlet supporting a new bidet in the master bathroom. Youssef was first to call and sought info on the bidet to determine its amp requirements. He provided an estimate soon after. 2nd company’s estimate was $350 more than Yousssef’s. 3rd company wouldn’t provide estimate until a worker came out to look things over. No brainer, went with Atlas. Youssef was great, looked over power situation and identified best approach. Install of GFCI outlet was then quick. His price was reasonable, his care of work area and install was superb. He knows his stuff. He was a pleasure to have around. I’ll go with Atlas Electrical Solutions for future electrical work. He’s a pro whom I can trust!"

"Installer did a good job on installing ceiling fan with light kit. He was friendly and cleaned up after installation. Still working well 2 months later. The only things disappointing is that my initial phone quote was about $100 less than I was originally charged. I'm not sure if the difference was the labor I was charged to assemble the ceiling fan.

Recently, I was contacted by the Frederick Manager, Lou and he took care of my concerns. We discussed future job opportunities in my home. I would recommend this company for their good work and customer service."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Arlington, VA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
