"I had received a re-roofing quote from Cornerstone 5 years ago but elected to get a few more years out of our shake roof through cleaning, moss control treatment, and a handful of replacement shakes. With the existing shakes now 21 years old, our house was beyond ready for a new roof, so we contacted Cornerstone again. To select them, I had references from an independent source, looked at other homes they worked on, utilized Angie's List reviews, and reviewed the CertainTeed website. The Cornerstone proposal was very comprehensive and provided us with a lot of confidence our new roof would be installed professionally with no cutting of corners. We found the installation crew to be very conscientious and hard workers. There was one small glitch that the management crew jumped on quickly so as not to be a concern on our part. The final inspection of the roof was done by Juan, who was incredibly meticulous in double-checking to be sure all the terms specified in the contract were complied with (metal flashing and gable vent closures are a couple examples). All-in-all, Cornerstone did not disappoint. We are very pleased with the final product and have received compliments from several walkers going by on the appearance of the new roof and gutters."

"We are so glad that we chose Bluegrass Construction for our second story deck replacement. Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. They arrived when they said they would and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. They are very good at communication and worked with our schedule. Some changes had to be made to the deck to correct mistakes of the original builder. Bluegrass staff explained what they saw needed to happen and the reason for it. They also uncovered issues affecting our siding that we are going to have them come back and address in the spring. We were so impressed with them even before they started our project that we contracted them to rebuild my mother’s cedar deck. It turned out beautiful and is much better constructed than the original. The front porch railings also added to the appearance of our home and made it easier for older family members to climb the rounded flagstone step. I with we had done this several years earlier."

"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

"After contacting NW Natural Lighting, Dawn came to our house (on a weekend, which was nice) to do a consultation, explaining how solartubes work, helping us understand where and how they could have the most impact, and providing recommendations for where to install them and how many to install. Ours is a bit of an unusual case because we were installing the solartubes in bedrooms, but they explained that we could put dimmers in to close them at night. The installation had to be booked a month or two out because they're booked pretty far out, but the installers showed up on time and did a great job on the installation. I think our building is a little tricky to work with because the roof is pretty steep and the ceiling is lathe and plaster, but they got the solartubes in with only one extra hole in the ceiling (we pretty much end up with an extra hole in the wall or ceiling anytime anyone does work on our place). The additional light is great, and the fixtures blend in pretty well with the ceilings."
