"Dario Valdes and his crew did a great job for a great price- a significantly lower price than bids from competitors. This was a difficult job - 3 story house, bevel cedar siding and shakes, steep roof covered in solar panels, multiple gables, 4 different colors. Dario and his team are pros - hard working, skilled, pay attention to detail, never cut corners, took care of the little things that make a difference, e.g. cleaning, surface prep, masking, drop cloths to protect surfaces. Dario went the extra mile to do the job right, accomodating our preferences. We are very happy with their work and highly recommend Custom Painting of Asheville."

"This company was amazing to work with. I had heard horror stories of working with contractors, so I was nervous about this, as it was a lot of money to spend, and we'd just bought the house. They were great, though!

They even changed the color of one of the rooms at my request (we covered the cost of the new paint, of course) and didn't complain or act like it was an issue at all, though it was obviously inconvenient - and they were still done before the original estimated timetable. In addition, they also painted the inside of the closets (and even some of the shelves), which was not in the original contract, and, again, we weren't charged any more for that service. It was the little things like that which really made a difference. We have cathedral ceilings in our house, and they did a beautiful job on everything. Even after living in the house for over a month, I still haven't found any mistakes.

I thought the price was high at first, but I had a second estimate, and the second painter estimated the same price but wasn't as professional, so I went with Bobby. We don't regret it at all, and now I realize how much work was involved in the job and I know the money was very well spent. I can't say enough good things about the company! (The reason I gave a and quot;Band quot; for the Responsiveness category is that email wasn't the most efficient way to get in contact with them - but Bobby always answered his cell phone.) An added bonus - Bobby took a few minutes out of a job later on to give me a recommendation on an electrician, since we're new to the area. We would definitely use them again!"
