"I talk to the owner Donaven and discussed the work needed. I wanted him to install wood fence post 36â deep and I would do the rest. We agreed on a price but he did not present a contract to me. He was to start on a Monday and did not show up until 12:30pm because he thought it was going to rain. Had trouble digging the holes with his rented auger and had to leave and get another one with a sharper blade. Next day he did not show up until 10am then he had to leave at 1pm and returned about 3 hours later. When I checked the depth of the holes that evening I found the holes to be anywhere from 12â to 24 deep and most were 17 . (The frost line in Ohio is 32-36 depending on the area. ) I called and told him about the issue and said he would be out to look at them. When he showed up he looked at the depth and said he did not want to redo his work and wanted to part ways and I said that was fine with me. The next day he showed up at 10am and wanted to reconsider and finish the job. I said no thanks because I had already hired another contractor to dig the holes to the proper depth. Not only did I have to hire another contractor but he left me 8 post 16 long that I had to cut in half. Although he seemed like a nice guy I would not hire this company as I feel they are not experienced and knowledgeable about building fences."
