"They showed on time, did what we needed. It has been two weeks and so far so good. Rodney was easy to work with and addressed our concerns immediately. I would hire him again. Will try to update after some time has passed. "

"Aug 5th the work was done, next day it rained water was ankle deep in front of my door. I called Harry he said he was booked the next 2weeks. He was supposed to call me Friday as to when he could correct the problem. No call yet. I have pictures of the flooding. I have to use a sump pump when it rains, so I don't have flooding in my house."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Very displeased with the service from Asphalt 24/7. Two driveways paved and $9,000 handed to this company, all for my asphalt to be cracking and breaking in MULTIPLE places within 5 months. Instead of righting their wrongs, Asphalt 24/7 chooses to try and recharge their customers interested in offering them a second chance. Very poorly handled situation. If you want someone to stand behind their work, do not choose Asphalt 24/7."

"We had TriStar pave our driveway in the beginning of June. On June 23rd I contacted them about the uneven lines left from the steam roller, low spots where water collects, rough areas that have boot prints, etc. and was told that they would come out to repair as soon as they had a crew in the area. In July I reached out again for another issue, trees and vines growing through the asphalt where it is laid very thin. I understand over time vegetation may grow, but less than 2 months? Once again I was told they would repair when in the area. In August I again reached out for yet more issues, the asphalt was laid with pine cones in it and now they are breaking up the asphalt and the area that was thinly laid has more plants coming through, pretty much in a straight line. This time the response was the same we will fix when in the area and that I should not be having these issues. Since, then I have found more areas where the asphalt had debris mixed in and it is staring to break up. It is now September and no one has tried setting up a time to fix, I feel as a paid customer, I shouldn't have to wait this long for a crew to be in the area to fix. I'm not sure if it is truly because there is not a crew in the area or if it is because I turned down the $2,300 sealing that they called me about the next day after paying almost $20,000 for the work. They left limbs broken and hanging even though I let them use my chainsaw, tools laying in the grass and clumps of asphalt in the yard that I had to pick up so I wouldn't hit while mowing."

FAQs for asphalt sealing projects in Ashland City, TN

If you live in a mild climate, you may only need to seal the surface every three years. If you live in extreme heat or cold, you should seal your driveway every other year to protect it from sun or winter weather damage. Consider the frequency of sealing a driveway when purchasing a home in an area with extreme weather.

Sealing your driveway between spring and fall in optimal warm and dry weather conditions maximizes its protection and extends its lifespan. Moderate temperatures allow the sealant to bond properly with the asphalt surface, ensuring a durable seal. Avoid sealing during extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow, as these conditions can prevent the sealant from curing correctly.

An asphalt filler sealer is a product that fills cracks while simultaneously sealing the asphalt surface, providing comprehensive protection in one application. It's ideal for repairing minor damage and preventing future issues. When selecting the best asphalt filler sealer, consider factors such as drying time, durability, environmental impact, and compatibility with your existing asphalt. Choose a high-quality product that fits your budget and meets your driveway's specific needs to ensure long-lasting results.

Maintaining your coated blacktop is essential for its longevity. Clean your driveway thoroughly twice a year using a stiff broom and a pressure washer to remove dirt, debris, and stains. Reseal the surface when required, every two to three years, to keep it protected. Avoid parking on a newly sealed driveway for at least two weeks. Prevent oil and gas spills, and promptly repair cracks or damage to prevent them from worsening. Removing snow and ice promptly can also protect your asphalt from freeze-thaw damage.

Preventing cracks in your driveway starts with regular maintenance. Clean your driveway thoroughly twice a year to remove debris and identify any budding issues. Seal your driveway every two to three years to protect it from water infiltration, UV damage, and wear from traffic. Promptly repair any small cracks to prevent them from expanding. Avoid parking heavy vehicles on the edges of your driveway and ensure proper drainage to reduce stress on the asphalt or concrete. These proactive steps help maintain the integrity of your driveway and extend its lifespan.

Absolutely. You don't need to be restricted to the standard blacktop asphalt. These days, you can find this material in exciting colors like brown, white, green, brick, terracotta, and more. If you have a color in mind, shop around to find the option that suits your vision for your asphalt driveway.
