"We hired Xtra Care to help us renovate our backyard, build a new deck, and install a new retaining wall, plus install some plants appropriate for the shade level of the yard, and build a walkway to address erosion of the soil along the side of our house. From our first encounter with Cleber, the owner, we were eager to work with them. Cleber had many ideas about how to better use the space we had (which wasn't much) and how we could accomplish our goals of having a space to sit, a space to eat, and a space to cook and grill outside. His enthusiasm and creative thinking helped us immensely. Angela's drawings and proposal arrived very promptly after our first conversation. We booked the 3D rendering as an additional option so we'd get a sense of what we were going to achieve with the space and their ideas. It was a smooth and interactive process; Angela took our questions and suggestions and modified the plans to better accommodate our goals, and I really appreciated the customer input form they include so they have a sense of what customers want before they begin. The process of digging out the yard, installing the new wall, the plants, and the deck, was addressed by three teams of people. CJ's team was taking on the hardscaping, and they were all meticulous with keeping the area as neat as possible, and with making sure the gates were closed afterward to keep our dogs inside. Diego's team installed the deck and demolished the old one, and I really appreciated that his crew reattached the old side stairs from the old deck to the back of the house so we and the dogs could get in and out safely. Tim's team took on the plant relocation (we had some hydrangeas we wanted to move, along with some yews and some hostas) and they were quick, considerate, and meticulous as well. Our experience was terrific from start to finish. Despite weather delays, supply delays due to the pandemic, and coordinating all the different pieces of the proposal, the project took only a few weeks, and we are so very happy with our new deck space. We have probably tripled the amount of usable space in our back yard. Xtra Care did a phenomenal job, and we'll hire them again to address our front yard and driveway area in the future."

"I had an excellent experience with Abel and his team. When we hired this company, we wanted to solve some water issues (my backyard flooded constantly) and we wanted to have a nice place for the kids to play and to hang out. We cannot be happier with the results. This project involved (1) demolition of existing patio and retaining walls, (2) regrading, (3) a new retaining wall and (4) a new patio. In those phone calls, I have mentioned some details about the work (minor things that are expected in projects are big as mine), and Abel has not hesitated to send someone to fix those small things at no cost (he actually gave me mulch last time he came). This experience me me feel very confident about the quality of their work. In summary, I am very happy to recommend best landscape & construction. A high quality company with good prices that takes costumer satisfaction seriously."

"I have never done a project like the patio they did and I could not be happier with the process, and the work Mike and his team did. He helped my wife and I scope out the project and listened to what we wanted and how we wanted to use the space. His suggestions were thoughtful and the end product turned out just as we had envisioned. There was no pressure during the process and he took all the time we needed to answer questions. His crew worked incredibly hard every day they were here, and you could tell they took pride in their work, focused on little details I couldn’t even envision, and had fun while doing it. "We are the same people who submitted the review regarding the large-scale installation of gardening beds with trees and shrubs (~75 plants total) in our backyard, followed by core aeration, seeding, and grub treatment of our entire property (work completed October 14, 2013).
Since this work was completed, Kuhlman Lawn Service has done a wonderful job checking up on our property to make sure all plants are healthy and that the new garden beds have proper drainage.  They have quickly and happily replaced a few trees (under warranty) that didn't fare well after the past two harsh winters, and everything else they planted is doing beautifully.
The work we just had done in Spring 2015 was for garden bed extension and reshaping (to expand the beds to accommodate new tree growth), mulch removal and replacement for all garden beds on the property, and some tree and shrub trimming.
Consistent with our previous experiences working with Kuhlman Lawn Service (we've made use of their services since 2011), everyone we dealt with was friendly and respectful, and the workers left our property clean and tidy after completing the work.
As before, we look forward to working with them more in the future!
