"Outstanding experience. They responded within 2 minutes of me posting the job on Angie’s List and arrived within the same hour. They help me install a transformer for my ring door bell camera and a solar power operated back camera. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. The team was respectful, professional, and very affordable. I would absolutely work with them again. If you’re looking for an electrician of any kind, this is your team."

"Ramon assisted us with the proper exterior house fixtures to purchase for the application that we wanted. He installed the exterior house lights for us and did an amazing job. The quality of his work was as discussed and we will hire him again for future electrical projects. "

"We had a R59 cable installed by the builder which was a problem from day one. The reason we took so long to replace it was we were concerned about the look and the difficulty replacing a cable that was literally built into the structure so it couldn’t be pulled through. MediaTech found a routing that looked planned and hidden even though space was tight in the attic. Result: looks good and no more TV interference and inoperable modems."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Atascocita, TX

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
