"After calling a number of contractors for quotes on this project, we decided to go with KFG, as the pictures of Kevin's work looked really good, and he was extremely responsive and professional when I reached out to him to come take a look at the job ad provide a estimate. He came out very quickly and followed up with a quote. He was very helpful in discussing options and providing his input to help decide on some details of the project. It did take a little longer than expected to get started, but the weather is an uncontrollable factor and he was very good about answering questions and providing updates. The crew did a very thorough job removing the old and damaged mortarwork, and since they used a power washer as well as rock hammers the basement was quite a lot cleaner when they left than when they started. "I could not be any happier with the job max and Walterâ  s masonry just completed at my home in Worcester. My wife suffered a massive stroke in March and is currently confined to a wheelchair. I needed concrete stairs removed and the existing concrete walkway dug up and re-graded to better accommodate a wheelchair, then re-poured. I also needed a retaining wall built to hold back the newly exposed earth that resulted from the digging/re-grade. I had someone lined up to do this job but they bailed on me at the last minute. Luckily max who stepped in and did a masterful job, at a cost I could afford. I would highly recommend these guys in a heartbeat. They really bailed me out because my wife was literally trapped inside our house until those concrete stairs were removed and the new concrete ramp and retaining wall was completed. It was a time sensitive project and Josh was able to schedule the work quickly and charged us a reasonable price for the work. The entire crew was very skilled, they worked quickly, and left the site clean afterwards. They also have amazing attention to detail and the retaining wall has remained in great condition over the last 3 years.
