"We contacted Stanley Steemer to clean 3 rooms in our home. Although their quote was a little more than some of the other companies, we chose Stanley Steemer because of their reputation in getting the toughest stains out of carpet. The carpets in two of the rooms (Living Room and Dining Room) had significant pet stains in places. The carpet in the kitchen, near the stove, had grease stains. Everyone was very professional, from the person we spoke to on the phone to the men who cleaned our carpets. We had removed all of the lighter furniture from the rooms, as well as some of the heavier items, prior to their arrival. They moved the heaviest items prior to/while cleaning the carpets. We were very happy with the results. While a few of the pet stains did not come out completely, they were significantly lightened. Although we did not notice much of an odor due to the pet stains after the steam treatment, we did opt for the deodorizing treatment after the carpets were cleaned. We were told that the odor could worsen and the treatment, which contained an enzyme, would prevent this from occurring. This was a bit costly and it only took a minute to spray on all of the carpets cleaned. It did not do any harm, but I think we would pass on this option next time. By the time the job was completed, the carpets were almost dry! We received a phone call the next day concerning the service. Everyone was polite and we would certainly recommend Stanley Steemer to all! <br />"

"Called in morning after temperature in house had dropped to low 50 overnight on one of the first really cold days. They advised me they could have someone be there around 11 that day. I agreed to meet them at the house. He arrived promptly at 11 and was the same technician who has worked on our furnace in the past. They thoughtfully sent him as he'd have an advantage by knowing our furnace and set up. He diagnosed our furnace and found the fault. It was a worn out igniter, My furnace is about 15 years old and unfortunately the manufacturer doesn't use the same type of igniter any more so he was concerned he wouldn't be able to have one for a few days until one was shipped. Luckily he keeps a few obsolete parts in his van for such reasons. He had one and replaced the igniter and cleaned the furnace while he was there. Within 30 minutes of his arrival we had hot air blowing again. We will keep using them and referring them and are appreciative of their attention to detail and customer service."
