"Overall, the project went fine. The main concern was that the project went from May to November 2017. While the work was very well done, interruptions in the work were too frequent. Bruce is an old-school craftsman who does incredible work. He is able to produce materials that cannot be obtained otherwise. There are a few follow-up matters that need to be addressed. Our project involved removing a wall between the kitchen and a sitting room and a total tear-down from ceiling to floor. The overall result is very nice. Be sure to have a clear understanding about changes and what they may cost. Get a clear understanding about your timeline to completion. I may revisit this review when some of the remaining issues are addressed. KH"

"Chris once again came out and gave me a price on doing our daughters bedroom.  We used this company about 3 years ago to pain out our main living areas --- again with CHRIS giving the price's.  We decided to go back to this company, even after getting other quotes that were LOWER in price. <br /> Why? <br /> CHRIS. <br /> He pointed out that the other people did NOT include the closet, or the bedroom doors.  That would of been EXTRA --- once the work started.  You know the kind ------ they are working on your home, and before you know it BOOM, here is a added cost for this, or for that!  It's HORRIBLE. <br /> However with this company you do NOT EXPERENCE THIS.  Chris comes in, gives you the GRAND TOTAL --- and covers each and every thing needed, INCLUDED nail holes, closets, doors, trim, YOU NAME IT -- they cover it! <br /> Chris is the reason we gave out there name & number to TWO of our friends -  that called, and indeed used ELYSIUM painting company.  Both friends called me back and LOVED Chris, and the painters he sent over. <br /> Ok, enough on the price & Chis - <br /> Tim.  He came out and got the room ready to be painted.  He took his time --- worked quite (almost too quite, I thought he had left a few times! lol  and then he primed out the room, painted the cealing, did the closet and trim work --- this took most of one day -- as it did not go by the hour -- I did not care.  The next day he came back out with the COLORS --- our daughter was so EXCITED to see her PURPLE room come to life.  Oh and it did!  It's BEAUTIFUL.  One very dark wall of purple --- then 3 lighter walls of matching purple.  The white trim just sets this room off for a very pretty room.  (we wish our bedroom looked this darn good!)  Tim was such a nice man --- he showed us the 'purple princess' room --------- he asked my daughter if it was 'good enough' ------- and would she need anything else?  She smiled big as she was looking, wide eyed (shes 6) and said, oh nooooo, it's BEAUTFIUL!!! He was smiling just as BIG as she was. <br /> He was PROUD of his craft - workmanship - as he should be.  Not one purple dot where white paint is --- no bleeding of colors at all. <br /> Elysium Painting Company is just a name --- but it's people like Chris --- and TIM that make it happen. <br /> Yes, I will use this company again.  They many not be the cheapest (in the middle I would say) but I can TRUST them.  That too me, moves mountains.  <br /> Ms. Bates <br />"

"The finished product was very well put together and worked with ease. Great quality and time put into making the doors open and close properly. Great fitment on the barn along with very easy to converse and communicate what was happening and needed to be done."

"Everything went very well.Informed me right away of quoted cost,and were very prompt at informing me of when it would be fixed. When there was a break in the weather( winter- snow and ice), they came and fixed the problem!"

"The install of granite we would give an A.  Did a great job there, and it looks very good.  However, do NOT hire them to do your plumbing.  Either do it yourself, or hire a trusted plumber.  Faucet in sink was installed by owner, Andy.  It was very loose, and had to be tightened.  But the worst part, the drain under the sink was installed c***-eyed, and leaked.  Instead of calling Andy back again, who obviously was not a good plumber, my husband and brother-in-law spent a 1/2 day to reinstall.  I am VERY upset that we had to fix his mistakes. <br />"

"I had ordered a night stand and he came in and put it together. he put two screws on the outside of the nightstand, making two big visible holes. He said he would fix it, he admitted to using the wrong screws. I paid for this, and it was his mistake, and my furniture. I told him I wasn't going to accept this. I got my money back from the night stand, and the assembly fee. The screws catch on both drawers, so they won't go in."
