"<p>Three workers and Nick, whom we dealt with on the project, showed up at 2:30pm Thursday to remove bushes and prepare the plant beds. We had plans so we did not see them work or how late they stayed. When we surveyed the job Friday morning we noticed three bushes that were not removed as had been discussed at the contract signing. When Nick and the two man team arrived we pointed this out and it was rectified with no problem. Nick left and the two man crew worked hard all day in 94 degree heat to get the job done, They finished up and applied water to their work by 5pm Friday. We provided them with four bottles of water which they politely accepted. Nick arrived at 8:30am to settle the total bill.  He had stated earlier that for jobs under $15000 they do not require a down payment.</p> <p>We had contacted two other landscaping services which did not respond or did not respond in a timely manner. This is why I cannot rate the price of the work. We had no other quotes to reference. We chose base on the professionalism of Nick and the company he represents.</p>"

"They were very responsive to our emergency call. Another company never returned our call. The workers were working overtime and stayed until the tree was completely off the roof. Two limbs rested on the roof; the tip of the main trunk of the tree was tilted on the ground just 5 feet from the house. I noticed that if they removed one limb from the roof, the main trunk could pivot and fall into the house. They realized that also, and proceeded to remove other limbs on the other side so that the main trunk would roll away from the house. They worked quickly and had removed a great amount of the tree within 3 hours. I was disappointed that our lawn was trashed during the removal because they dragged the branches and limbs over the grass. The grass still isn't fully restored. It was, however, evening and they were in a hurry to be done by dark. It's also possible that the falling of the tree did some damage to the lawn. Their main concern was to get the tree off the house, and they did a great job. The other disappointment was that after the initial removal, they left a lot of debris in front of our main entrance and garage. We waited 10 days for them to return to complete the job and remove the debris so that we could park in the garage and use our front door. The scheduler said that because we were an emergency call, they came quickly and couldn't get back to complete the job right away because they had other previously scheduled jobs. That was understandable, though an inconvenience for us. A third concern involved the billing. I was initially billed for more hours than they performed. I called the manager and he changed the time so that it was more acceptable. I don't know if I was billed more because it was an emergency call and the workers were working overtime. That could explain the difference."
