"Mario and his team were excellent. When they arrived they started to work immediately removing the old bushes, trimming existing plants, clearing the beds, adding new plants/bushes , mulch and planting grass seeds. They even fixed a part of my brick wall that was missing some stones. They did a great job!"

"Had to replace an ancient Jenn-Air drop-in range with downdraft (installed in 1979) with a new LG duel fuel gas stove/electric oven range slide in. Knew it would take some work. Randy and Dan were great during the installation. Tim was very responsive."

"In the last 20 years there are just 2 or 3 contractors I'd have come back and do more work for me and Rob is one of them. Our home is a new construction and we were supposed to have a pool installed in August 2018. Rob came out and walked through the project with us in July. One delay after the next, more rainy days than we can count and next thing we find ourselves in March with the pool finally getting wrapped up!! Rob hung with us the whole time. When we were finally ready, he was ready! He had good ideas on several aspects of the back yard and we love the outcome! The quality of workmanship is excellent. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day and Rob communicated next steps with us frequently so we were not left wondering. We modified the plan several times and Rob updated the quote for us along the way. There were no surprises. He addressed questions and came out for a final walk through before I left on vacation. The pictures speak for themselves (before and after). I would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for a quality outdoor space! (Note that the concrete around the pool was done by another company)."

"WOW!  For those of us who have had a bad experience with a Contractor, you don't have to worry or fret anymore with Remodeling by Design....we actually found this Contractor based on a referral from a friend (Doug built their screened in porch also)....when we called Doug, he was prompt, attentive, and very detailed oriented....we truly felt like he was looking out for our best interests with his ideas and recommendations!  The best thing about this Company is that there were no hidden surprises like a suddenly found "hidden cost" that would cost us more....Doug stood by his word and did the job right, and in a timely fashion (about 3 weeks from start to finish). This Company's ethics  remind me of the days when a job was done on a Man's handshake where his word was "good" (and in this case Doug's handshake  would have been  "good" ) and not like today where most of us have to worry about getting shortchanged by somebody less trustworthy.....we would be surprised if  you would have a less than satisfactory experience.....we are completely satisfied."

"They charged me $700 for their services. There really wasn't anything that I didn't like about them. They got it done in the time frame. One of the owners came out and estimated it. He seemed to understand exactly what I wanted. His guys did the work and he must have really laid it out for them because they didn't miss anything. They did everything we needed done and they did a good job. Overall, they were excellent. I would use their services again."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Aurora, IN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
