"Two workers worked a half-day on 3/20. On that day, they got failed sections of fence removed, old posts dug up and new posts set in concrete. Didn't finish this day because concrete needs to cure overnight. Next day, on 3/21, two different workers came, worked a half-day to custom-build 5 sections of fencing and attach them to new posts. On both days, all work proceeded speedily but also with attention to detail and appearance. At my request, workers salvaged a dozen pickets for me to use elsewhere on the fenceline. All debris was removed and hauled away. New fence perfectly matches existing fence in pattern and slope -- except, of course, it is not yet weathered. The wood was high-quality pressure-treated wood, which they guarantee for a number of years. <br />"

"Contacted in July of this year, Chris Cooper of Landscape Associates came and talked with me about what I was wanting done to my front yard. He did say that his crews were very busy at that time and it would be several weeks before they could begin my project. Work began in mid September and was finished mid October. Once work began, daily progress was evident. Workers were friendly and courteous, and I received frequent updates from Chris as work progressed. Chris's design for my front yard is low maintenance, yet beautiful. I look forward to enjoying his design for years to come, and if I need more landscaping done, Landscape Associates will be my "go to" company."

"The crew showed up and got to work immediately.  They were on track to pour the concrete the very next day but do to a delay in getting the inspector to sign off the pre-pour and subsequently loosing their slot time with the concrete company they were forced to wait until Friday.  **Please note that this was not the fault of American Structure Repair**.  When the inspector came out he required the footers be dug out several more inches which, was incorrect.  What had been dug out was to code for the foundation being poured.  It was determined the inspector misunderstood that the foundation was for a garage.  Nonetheless, the changes were made immediately and they were back on track in no time.  Due to the mistake by the inspector much more concrete was required to fill the forms than originally estimated (approximately $400 more).  I was never asked to cover these additional costs. <br /> <br /> Also, the ramp from the street up to the floor of the garage was at an angle which was too high for my car to clear (I have a very low car).  The G.M. who spent a great deal of time on-site was the one to identify this problem.  Within hours a very acceptable solution had been figured out and implemented. <br /> <br /> Overall, my experience with all the people who worked on this job was positive.  Jerry Guzman is VERY knowledgable in many areas, not just concrete.  On another note, I was speaking with Jerry about the electrician I had hired to come out and wire the garage when the time came and told him what I was quoted for the job.  He had an electrician at my house within 10 minutes who understood exactly what it was I needed and wanted in this soon-to-be garage.  His quote was $1300 less than the other guys' for the same parts/work.  I would recommend American Structure Repair to anyone."

"I had planned on replacing the small wood deck and steps outside of my back door with wood until I met Ron from Solid as a Rock Landscaping.  He was doing work for a neighbor and I asked him for an estimate.  I accepted the price and to my surprise Ron and his crew started work later that day. It took them three days to complete and it looks great.  My wife and I are very happy with the job, cleanup and the people.  Thanks Ron, Mike, Mack and Malachi. <br />"

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Austin, AR

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
