"We had just moved into our new home when my wife asked our relator about a landscaping company that does putting greens. Vanir was recommended to us and we couldn't be happier. There team installed a new putting green, paver patio with a firepit & a beautiful waterfall. Such an amazing process to watch our bare backyard transformation into what it is now. A little more than I was expecting to play, but definitely worth the outcome."

"I had a 100 year old tree removed as well as a pool taken down which really made a mess of my backyard. I never thought I would fine a landscaper that would remove all the tree stump wood that was left after the stump was ground up and all the grass that was destroyed from removing it as well as the damage the pool left but I found a wonderful landscaper that went over and above cleaning up my yard, installing sod, installing mulch and plants. I now will love to sit on my deck and enjoy looking out at the wonderful jot that Jay, Roy and D did for me. I will be calling them back to do power washing of my fence within a couple of weeks after my sod and plants have had a chance to root develop."

"Scott and his crew had made a bed for us in 2012. He put part of it on Verizon's landing spot after I told him not to.  It looked nice but Verizon complained and so I had to pay him more to remove the edge and reshape it.  Also in 2015 we contracted to build  a new bed along a chain link fence.  The area is low and needed to be built up.  I asked him to kill the grass before he began but he said it would die from the soil on top.  Well it didn't and now I have to contend with killing the grass among the shrubs.  Also he didn't make the bed deep enough and the wetness killed the shrubs so I have to have the bed made deeper and replace the shrubs. <br />"

"We had several estimates and as it was Fall, many felt they couldn't get it done.  Mr. Merlo just seemed very knowledgeable and gave us more hands-on information than the others.  He was the only contractor who even mentioned my center drain in the garage.  He was very present and available during the entire process, not just the boss who comes if there is a problem or a salesman.  During the demolition, Mr. Merlo worked very hard to discover where our drain was emptying and requested an irrigation consult.  We lost very little time as he had an amazing consultant who assessed our problems and attended to them.  It explained entirely why our garage floor had been so buckled. Mr. Merlo's team was courteous, extremely punctual, and efficient.  They even repaved a back patio piece that that had been broken up for the irrigation work.  The driveway looks great! <br />"

"Like I mentioned we have used this service for the last three snow seasons.  We have an apartment complex, and the snow removal would take place during the overnight hours when our lot is full, (Which was ok) however the next day, they would not return to do lot cleanup as asked and stated in the contract and when called asked asked to do day cleanup was treated as it was a burden to them and got pretty gruff on the phone!  Also when snow season was completed per the contract they were supposed to return for lawn repair from the plows, which all they did was pull there staked and left with out any repair work. When called about repair work, all I got was we will get to it! NO SHOW! <br />"

"Everything went very well. The tree were fairly large and Richard helped determine proper placement. Trees were mulched and grass seed spread around the holes. He even came back weeks later to throw down some extra grass seed."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Buffalo, NY

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
