A few days later he and his guys were out digging, rain or shine, to begin leveling out the agreed upon area. It was muddy and overwhelming to watch the process, but at the end of each day Ricardo would meet with me to explain what they had done and what they would do the next day, which was a huge comfort during the early stages.
