"Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. "First, let me applaud Bob for being flexible  in delivering my tile. He actually bought it out on a weekend so his crew could start the project first thing, as I was on a very tight deadline to finish an unfinished basement room in a new construction before a moving van arrived. Avalon did have to push the start date back one day, which I was amenable to since Bob was so accommodating with that initial tile delivery.
I had one person who did tile placement, cutting and installation. That went very smoothly, and the gentleman answered any questions I had along the way. The following day a different professional arrived to do the grouting, which came out excellent.
Here's a big plus...they all left the room and areas they were working in neat and tidy. Having had tile placed in various homes, I've never had such a thorough 'clean up' after the fact.
I would highly recommend Avalon for anyone considering a tile project. Great job, Bob & team.
