"Turned out great. No more ugly florescent lights. Floors are beautiful. We had some hiccups with the crew hired to do the tile work. Ended up paying extra out of pocket for tile and had issues with face plates fitting on all electrical outlets when tile work was done. Took way longer than it should have to get the issue worked out, but once done, looks great and we are happy."

"<p>Cerda Concrete responded quickly to my inquiry for an estimate. I got 2 other estimates from other companies, but I felt Cerda Concrete's bid was within my budget as well as being fair.  We had some difficulty scheduling the job due to weather issues and complications on the job prior to mine.  Once the job was scheduled the company was very punctual in getting to the job site. They also were extremely dedicated to leaving the job site very clean.  They completed the job in a timely manner. It took quite some time for the concrete to cure, but when it finally dried I was somewhat satisfied with the appearance of the concrete. A bracket had to be replaced on one of my posts of my patio cover where the patio was being re-poured. The company said they would have to return to fill in the concrete after the new concrete had cured. It took about 2 months for them to return to fill in some concrete underneath the post. I made 2-3 calls trying to set up a time for them to return to finish the job.</p> <br /> <br />If you use this company you will need to be proactive and keep in constant contact with them. I felt like their communication with the customer needed to improve. <br />"

"Ricardo was recommended by Stan's Plumbing who had jack hammered my patio to repair a plumbing leak. About 8 feet by 2 feet and many inches deep over the new pipes to and from garage. Delay was required until the dirt dried. <br /> Ricardo returned my call in a reasonable amount of time. He scheduled a general morning appointment, then called early Saturday to do the estimate. I had no idea until I received the written estimate that Ricardo was a licensed general contractor. This helped my decision to hire him. We even had a chat about how long he'd been in business and how long as a general contractor and its value. <br /> He provided an estimated day to do the concrete work that depended on the jobs he had going on and the dryness of the dirt over which he'd lay the concrete. The estimated day was Wednesday. I heard from him Thursday evening with his plan to do the work either Monday or Tuesday, but no later than Tuesday. <br /> I was showering when I heard the thump, thump of him compacting the dirt on Monday morning. He was working with one other adult and had two grandsons with him. The adult was a smoker who left cigarette butt in my driveway. For this I reduced the professionalism by one letter. Ricardo himself was professional. Even the grandkids were not a problem to me since they were out of school learning how to work hard. <br /> The job was completed by the time I was ready to go to work. The saw cuts and prep were exactly as Ricardo described in the estimate process. The edging of the concrete was also exactly as described. The repair looks great. Unfortunately, we had a rare thunder storm shower during the day which left imprints of fat raindrops. Not a problem for me since the patio is all outdoors. <br /> Ricardo does more than concrete. I look forward to calling him for any future repair or remodeling needs. <br />"
