"Luigi was a pleasure. His prices were not the highest, not the lowest, but when I met him for an estimate, he struck me as the most dependable, reasonable contractor to hire. That impression turned out to be true. In negotiating the price during the estimate, he kept a big picture point of view and didn't nickle and dime the smaller components of the job. For example, after agreeing on a price, as we walked to my porch to sign the contract, he noticed the bricks on my front steps could use some pointing and said he'd take of that at no additional charge. When the city decided to chop up the sidewalk to replace a gas line the day after we signed our contract, Luigi was very accommodating and split the job into thirds (something in my experience contractors don't like to do) to work around them. Luigi was on site during each day of work supervising his crew of two to three guys. He repaired and extended an existing retaining wall and coated the cement work with stucco to match the original wall. He replaced the front section of my driveway, and when the city ended up replacing the driveway apron which they demolished during the gas line replacement, but, which was also part of my contract with Luigi, Luigi actually refunded me a portion of the agreed-upon price. Luigi is honest, professional, and seems to me to know his trade. I'm very happy with his work and would highly recommend him."

It was a G-d send. The crew came to work on time and did the work, which was brick pointing and wall repair. Also some of the shingles on top of the house were either coming off from the windstorm or about to come off. They replaced that too. Other companies I had interviewed/had estimates from didn't say they can start right away. This was an emergency and I was relieved that Ryan and his crew came to my rescue! I would hire again in a heartbeat. Even though it was more expensive than the other estimates, I felt it was worth it. Another company I interviewed wanted to put the siding back that was torn off by the wind. I wouldn't even consider them if they had that mindset!"

"Mr. Torres was great with all the work we had done. We went to his office where we picked out the color stones for our brick steps and paver walkways. He was extremely helpful with suggestions and patterns. In the middle of the job I asked for an estimate for the side of our house for a walkway and he was able to do that as well as the initial work. The price was very fair and we were very happy with it, we had another estimate for the work and it was astronomical. "Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"
