"Miguel, the owner, showed up exactly at the scheduled time. My first impression upon meeting him was that he is a real pro who knows what he is doing. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my lawn sprinkler system, explained the problem to me in terms that I could easily understand, and with my consent, fixed the problem in record time. I'm impressed with his competence, delightful attitude, and honesty. I highly recommend him and his company."

"It was a clean and great service. I had Mr Rodriguez redesign the front of my house with a small fountain which he installed perfectly and rearranged my rocks, removed the bad weeds, replant and plant new plants. He also put mulch. And lastly he put my night lights. Very good and beautiful work. I highly recommend him. Thank you once again."

"Ryan responded to my request to repair my steps. He came over the same night to give me an estimate. Two day after that, he was at my home and knocked out the repair in an afternoon. Extremely happy with his work and hired him to repair the chimney for my next project. Highly recommend Ryan!!!"

"Our paver patio was set on a poorly installed, damaged concrete foundation that was in place before we owned our home. Chris and his crew meticulously restored the concrete and reused all of our pavers which were still in good shape. Their attention to detail and work ethic was so impressive, not to mention their manners and pleasant dispositions. They arrived early in the morning and worked until late afternoon. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and would hire them again without hesitation. I highly recommend them!"

"Larry Schmitz, the owner, is the best of the best!  He was responsive to my initial call and to all of my questions, and sent me an estimate exactly when he said he would. (Total contrast to two other companies I had called: One other companiy did not give me estimates after initially coming to visit, and one did not 'get' at all what I needed done in my yard, so drew up some elaborate plan that had little to do with what I'd asked for.) <br /> Larry and his team did beautiful work taking bushes and holly trees out, creating neat-looking beds, pruning, and building a stone wall around one of the beds.  My husband came home from work and asked "did I come to the right house?  this yard is too pretty to be ours."  It was quite a contrast. <br /> What I appreciated was that Larry the owner was on the job himself, and I could call him any time to make adjustments.  My neighbors had used his services and said he was absolutely trustworthy and had been in the business a long time, so we took their advice to hire him.  So happy we did!  I <br /> 'd recommend Larry to everyone.  He can help you figure out what is bothering you about your yard, and make recommendations about how to improve it.  That's really helpful for someone like me who doesn't know anything about plants or landscaping, and needs an expert with whom she can talk through options.  Go with Twin Pines Landscaping -- you'll be very pleased. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Baltimore, OH

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
