"These guys were incredible! Not only did they stain my deck with the proper product, but they replaced boards that were warped or rotten. They were reliable and traveled more than an hour to get here each day until they were finished. I would recommend them for any kind of paint job."

"These folks know it all. My bathroom was completed in just over 2 weeks. They replaced my sagging waterlogged floor, created a walk-in ADA compliant shower, took a vintage buffet and refinished it and created a beautiful vanity, installed a beautiful tile floor and tripled my storage by creating a giant custom bathroom linen closet that I still have not been able to fill completely. The bathroom space is the same but feels twice as large. We have other projects and we will be calling them. Oh, and my home is a manufactured home. Communication was key and constant. They arrived on time every day and would stay late to fix that days schedule work. It came in under budget. Love Ron, Terry, Shelia and others."

"I can’t say enough great things about ACE Handyman Services! The owners are both exceptional—honest, hardworking, and truly dedicated to providing the BEST service possible. Recently, they laid flooring for me on my stairs and upstairs, and also completed a wall painting project. Everything turned out beautifully! Mike, the handyman I’ve had the pleasure of working with, is outstanding. He’s always professional, on time, and I feel completely comfortable having him in my home. His attention to detail and quality of work are top-notch. I will absolutely continue using ACE Handyman Services for all of my future handyman needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Bandera, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
