"sand and refinish wood floor and railings in loft. During the early stages of the work, we decided to make some big modifications in what we wanted to have done and Tomahawk just went with the flow. They were able to easily make the changes and come up with alternative ideas. Communication and reliability are crucial when working with contractors and we have to say that Ritchie answered each one of our questions, concerns, and requests no matter what time of day it was. We never felt neglected or worried about lack of communication. The work is being done beautifully with concern for details and it's obvious that Tomahawk takes pride in their finished labors. We have already discussed what the next step in our remodeling projects will be for winter 2023. _"

"Pete and Barb were outstanding to work with. We replaced a large carpeted room with unfinished birch and it looks incredible. Very happy with the outcome. Pete installed, sanded and finished it all on schedule (even with a small subflooring setback, that was unknown to all of us prior). There was minimal dust from sanding. Pete worked very hard to complete all work as promised, staying later into the evening to get it done. He was very detailed, thoughtful and respectful of the room/our home. Barb was very thorough in answering questions and communicating and both she and Pete were very easily accessible to answer any questions. Overall a great experience and will hire again!"

"The installers did great work. They made sure all of the details were completed and we were happy with the job before they left the house. They wore masks the entire time and cleaned up everything before they left. They also moved and put back the furniture in the room they were working in. The only complaint I have is that their management only assigned two installer to the job that could have used three or even four. Empire promotes their one day service but that is not likely to happen with just two people handling this type of hard wood installation."
