Surprisingly, they had a schedule change and we were asked if they could arrive early! The two techs arrived right on time and explained how they would inspect our ducts and then recommend any additonal service. Post inspection, they showed me pictures of our ducts, and luckily, no further work was necessary. They did spend additional time with me explaining how I can add filters to my returns and recommended that we reinspect in 2 years. Providing elevated customer service is key to exceeding customer expectations, and these guys definitely exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this business!"

I appreciated his honesty and not charging me for something I didn't need, when he easily could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. "Don't call Top Hat Chimney Sweeps. I had them install a screen over the top of my chimney less than two years ago. Today, I heard some kind of animal in the chimney, so I called them to come back. Their guy was here less than 15 minutes and spent most of that on his phone. He quoted me $315 to fix the screen and add more, but said he didn't have the materials today and would have to come back. I said that was fine. Then he said that the call today, which accomplished nothing, would be $81! He didn't do anything - he didn't even have the ladders he needed to get up there, he just stood on the ground looking up at it the whole time! I said forget it and paid him that and said I'd call someone else. They obviously don't care about their customers or their work. Avoid Top Hat Chimney Sweeps!"
