"<p>Maas Nursery offers different levels of landscape design service. . You can have them do a scaled design for $400 which you get back when you purchase plants or they can do everything including installation. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>We were going the free route; basically you provide pictures of the area you want landscaped and they draw on it design ideas.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I called to schedule an appointment to meet with designer. This took two weeks to get scheduled. Please keep in mind this is during busy spring season.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>My appointment was with Daniel and he was very nice and listened to what goals were for the project. He did not try to sell me extra services or expensive designs. We wanted something to increase our curb appeal as we were putting our house on the market.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>My pictures weren't exactly what they needed so he asked me to take more and include a budget so he would know what to work with. I took pictures and emailed them with budget. After a week I emailed to follow-up. I received email the following day that plan would be mailed within few days. I had to send an email week later to follow-up because hadn't received plan yet. I received email next day apologizing for delay. Daniel came out that FRiday to take pics and sent me the plan the next day.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The plans were nice and the plant list was actually under our $1000 budget. We've installed the plants and received several comments from neighbors.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>My suggestion is if you want Maas to help you with your landscape designs to give lots of lead time and if possible not do it around spring and fall busy times.</p> <br />"

"We asked Kirsch Landscaping to look at our yard and provide ideas. Originally, we were prepared to extend our patio all the way out and create a large seating/entertaining area under the trees. Ken came out and patiently listened to our desires of wanting to create a backyard retreat that was livable, LOW maintenance and wasn't going to cost an arm/leg or at least not require replanting again and again. I think he must have spent at least 60-90 minutes just talking with us, getting to know us and how we wanted to use the yard. About half-way through our conversation, Ken suggested using turf grass, I originally balked. (Thoughts of putt putt greens and cheesy looks came to mind.) My husband thought it might be a good option and was definitely going to be less expensive than our original idea...so I agreed to at least go walk on the product at their shop. Stepping onto the grass with bare feet was a real treat and when Ken shared how easy the maintenance would be, I decided to go ahead and try. Kirsch Landscaping put in a French drainage system, put in the turf and then helped build up existing beds with moss rocks to create our backyard retreat. I was impressed with the aesthetics from the start. Three days later the yard was given a test and I experienced just how impressive this product is! The workers left two days before I had a backyard party planned for a large group of kids. Of course I had planned outside activities! However, the morning of the party, it poured rain and I was sure I would have to make alternate plans for the kids. But I was wrong! The rain stopped at 2 pm. At 5:30pm when the children arrived...they were able to play every game we had planned without any mess, mud or wet grass! The drainage system was amazing. The yard is now three years old. It has held up in all kinds of weather, handled the hard play of dogs, kids and grandkids. However, perhaps the greatest test to the drainage system and how well the yard holds up was last August when our community got hit by Hurricane Harvey. On August 28th -- we had almost 14 inches of rain dumped on us in one day. Without the backyard and the drainage system that Kirsch had installed, we would have had a full blown lake as many of our neighbors did. While we were in the worst of the storm, our yard was able to take on massive amounts of water and recover within 20-30 minutes. Thank you Kirsch!"

"Lee and his helper did an excellent job. He quickly found where the valve boxes were located. They were underground hidden by grass and dirt and I did not know the location but Lee found them quickly. I had several bad valves and decided to replace all four since the system was over 15 years old. One set of valves had a broken box which Lee and his helper replaced. Lee also was able to locate a pipe on one of my zones that was leaking. He quickly repaired that pipe. He also showed my several heads that were not functioning properly and replaced them. Lee and his helper were very courteous and professional. Lee was quickly able to find all the problems with my system and replace or repair these items. I was very impressed with the work and everything was done neatly and quickly. I would highly recommend Irrigation Design Services and I will be calling them again should I have any problems with my sprinkler system. I also felt they were priced right and did high quality work"

"Excellent work! - Mr Blalock himself came to review all the options and costs with us before scheduling the big work. He even gave good tips on other companies for other work we need. On the work-day, they called to say they were coming. Their crew worked quickly, had the right special tools and were professional. Hard to show a photo since its all nicely hidden in the garden ground. Hopefully, we're better prepared for the next heavy rains and hurricanes."

"Ramon answered promptly when called and showed up on time for the quote. The price was fair and the product he used for the project was of good quality. Commenced on time and ended when he said it would. Very respectful crew which is a plus for me. The finished product looks great. There are some minor finishing touches that once the pavers set and concrete dried will have to be addressed. Nothing big. I recomend Mr. Gomez."

"The work was completed in an organized and timely manner. In addition, the retaining wall they built is very attractive. One task of filling in the patio cracks was done sloppily but when pointed out to the owner, he was very apologetic and immediately had someone come out and correct it. We were very pleased with this company and would definitely use them again."
