"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"John Doering, the home inspector who operates DIR Home Inspections, was really good at walking around the property, asking questions and providing a pretty complete explanation of whatever I asked about as he toured my home for the inspection. He clearly separated things that were important to do from things that were less important, and that allowed me to schedule a few repairs and fix-ups/maintenance jobs in good weather. For one or two maintenance activities where I was considering a pretty costly replacement or repair, he suggested ways to tackle them that turned out to be much less expensive and complicated. His background in construction gives him great ability to distinguish situations that may have some structural significance from those that only require some cosmetic improvement. John was a pleasure to deal with -- his advice onsite plus his written report were excellent!"

"Matthew was willing to do the job within a limited time frame.  Other companies came here and told me the job was too big to handle.  Matthew was willing to help us and was enthusiastic about it.  He is on time and very professional.  He neatly removed bathroom tiles, door threshold and kitchen tiles to get to the damp sub floor.  Had to remove kitchen cabinet for more access to problem.  Put everything back neatly.  Performed very neat repair to floor.  Installed new shower stall, tub and glass and made repairs to drywall behind shower.  Cut new bathroom entry door to size and installed perfectly.  He came back two times to fine tune his work.  He also helped with repairing a pipe which I broke while changing a shower head...at no extra charge.  He is very neat with his work, we were very impressed.  We look forward to calling him again with our next project. <br />"
