"These guys are great! I would hire them again any time for more work on a patio, or any landscaping needs. We wanted to install a small patio under our deck from our walkout basement. We thought we would get just a small concrete pad, so I called around to several places. Most of them did not call me back, or said the job was too small. Our real estate agent who sold us the house several years ago suggested I contact Patios and More to see about a paver patio. Mike Cordes got back to me almost immediately. He quickly scheduled a time to come out and see what we our space looked like. We liked what he had to say about building a new patio using pavers instead of poured concrete. He developed a plan in about a week along with a cost proposal. He came back out to our house to show us the plan. We liked it and signed the contract. He put us in their schedule for about 6-8 weeks later, and said it would take about three days to complete the job. Instead, they were here in about three weeks and worked a couple of long days to complete the job in only two days! We are quite happy with the final patio. They did a tremendous job. Some key take-aways about this company: - Their cost was quite reasonable for the quality of the final patio. - They are reliable - they show up when they say they will and do what they say they will do. - They did everything we agreed to in the contract with no questions and no changes, and actually went beyond our expectations. - We were particularly impressed with their attention to cleaning up and repairing the lawn. This repair was part of the original contract since they knew they would have to drive a loader across the existing lawn. They repaired everything with high-quality sod so it looks even better than the original lawn. - The entire crew was friendly, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They all seemed happy to answer questions we had as the job proceeded. - They are just a great group of people. We most highly recommend them."

"It was a pleasure working with Kingscapes on this job to remove an existing deck and gazebo, design and build a new patio and landscape the grassy areas on our backyard. During the planning phase of the project, Don Kilty listened carefully to our ideas regarding the patio design and offered extensive advice, ultimately developing a plan that met all of our expectations. He was quick to provide a quote, and the amount was more reasonable than the other landscapers. ?The job presented some unusual challenges - two large basement window wells consisting of thick concrete needed to be jack hammered and removed ?- that Kingscapes handled with a high degree of professionalism. "My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they'd estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. They were very careful about placing plastic on the driveway and took care in ensuring they did as a little invasion to the area as possible. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with, and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. I LOVE IT! Every time I walk out and see it I love it more! "Lester and his crew were great to work with and the projects turned better than I could even had imagined. Every step of the way, Lester came up with wonderful ideas, used existing material we already had, whenever possible. Our project was a whole yard spring cleanup and mulch. However, given their expertise in masonry, we ended up also adding some masonry work. Very skilled, professional and extremely productive crew. We plan to do more work with Rough Stonework in the future, and highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors."

"Chris came out initially to take a look at the back yard and to discuss the project. I had asked him to put together a design based on some initial ideas and requirements of our own. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about installing patios. We discussed some issues with needing to improve water run off from the back of the house. We were in contact numerous times before start day to refine the design and choose pavers and lighting. Chris was always very responsive to my emails and calls and always pleasant to talk with. On start day, he showed up with his crew and a slew of machinery to excavate and prepare the base for the patio. He worked with me to mark off the perimeter and shape of the patio. When the size of the patio ended up bigger than what I had initially sent as measurements (my error), he didn’t complain- he just said he would order the additional pavers and we’d adjust the final invoice. I had asked him to try and not rip up the surrounding lawn too much and so they laid plywood and made sure that the skidsteers and other trucks stayed on that one small area. This was a real sign of their professionalism to me. I was amazed how the patio took shape in just 1 week. The crew worked through blistering heat and never complained. At the end of week 1, the patio was installed minus the final 4 cap lights since we had to wait for the lights to arrive. I make a partial payment to Chris for the work completed and then 1 week later, he came out and finished the lighting and worked through the electrical hook-ups to the house with our electrician on that day. We used pavers from a vendor who Chris uses and I was pleased with the look of what we chose. The pavers were installed well and Chris used polymeric sand to hold them in place. The job site was cleaned up every night and they moved excavated soil and aggregate base and we never had a “mess” at the house. Part of the project involved them ripping out a concrete landing outside of our adjacent garage access door and I never saw the broken concrete because they just hauled it away. Overall the patio looks incredible and I wouldn’t have asked for a better experience with an installer than what we got with Chris and his crew. I felt that the pricing of the project was very fair and that Chris and his guys were dedicated to finishing the patio as quickly as possible."

". Estimator was polite, informative, and prompt. The quote was very specific and easy to understand. I usually get more than one quote but because of your reviews by other customers I did not feel it was necessary. Work went well. They showed me the problem when the had the light excavation done. I was impressed by the innovation shown in raising the sidewalk which provided a few challenges. The only this I was disappointed about was the expansion material used around the curtain in front of the garage. This may resolve itself when I have the blacktop redone in the next year or two. <br />"

"WFY's renovation was amazing. We've lived with issues, created by the original owner, with the ground level of our home for nearly 20 years and finally had the funds to get it fixed. It's a difficult situation to explain, as our home's layout is "a bit different." Long story, short, WFY - Rob, and his business partner Scott - properly insulated above and below grade, then finished the area to be sympathetic with the balance of the house. There were many hurdles, each of which were surmounted expertly. In general, the project required hand digging a deep trench around 2 sides of our home without overly disturbing mature tree roots; developing a plan for insulating from the outside (rather than losing precious floor space indoors) while keeping the home attractive; working with other contractors who needed to move various mechanicals to accommodate; making adjustments as underground realities were revealed; completing the insulating, siding, and painting processes; replacing and fixing the landscaping disturbed as a necessary side effect of the project. WFY did it all whilst also being respectful of our requests around reusing existing landscaping materials, etc. It's not yet cold enough for a final report, but we've already noticed a huge difference this fall and expect more good things to come over the winter. The exterior looks even more attractive than it ever did in the past - which is a testament to design skills as well as actual construction. We've now hired WFY for multiple projects and are always thrilled with the results. We so highly recommend this business that WFY is even better than a "perfect 10.""

"Respectful advice during planning stages. Expert choice of plants and spacing. Crew was respectful and worked efficiently; clean-up was complete. The finished product was balanced with extremely healthy plant stock that is maturing perfectly. Comparing them to another company that did similar work for us, the quality of Living Space's work was better and the cost was significantly less; there was none of the standing around, talking on cell phones, or smoking a cigarette we have previously observed with other companies. We had Scott return this fall to do additional work and have had the same experience. Of over 50 plantings, only one died; an alternative was planted at no cost.
