"I can't thank Edwin enough for going above and beyond the job of installing my new storm door. What I thought would be relatively simple turned out to be quite time consuming. I had problems with the existing door frame because of some minor foundation issues. Although the door was installed correctly, there were so many gaps because of the imperfect existing door frame. Edwin and his assistant, Juan, both worked tirelessly and methodically to get the job done to HIS standards which is really rare these days. People are just used to doing what they are paid to do and move on. Not Edwin. Even though he was sick and very much under the weather, he knew that this installation was important to me because of my rising heat bill. He came in anyway and worked tirelessly in the cold weather to make sure everything was up to standard and indeed, it was above and beyond my expectations. "We have worked with Daniel and his team on installing new floors twice. The first time was five years ago. They removed existing floors and installed new floors. They did a great job with great attention to details. We were very pleased with the final work. Then when we purchased another apartment that needs new floors, we immediately thought of Daniel. They did not disappoint us this time, either. The floors look great, stick firmly to the underlying level, and their team cleaned up the apartment after the work. They also finished their work on schedule. Daniel and his team are a great professional flooring team with high work ethics. I highly recommend them and would hire them again."

"After speaking with the broker I was left thinking the vehicle would be delivered in FL in about 3 days or so which is how long it takes me to drive. It took a week during which I was unable to contact the company for updates during the weekend and had to extend my car rental. It was picked up in RI only one day beyond the target date. I paid an extra charge for expedited service but it turns out expedited refers to targeted pick up date; not delivery date which is in the fine print but not in telephone conversations. The driver was very careful with the car and very courteous."

"Leaving our house in the hands of Chuck from Talex was, without a doubt, the best way to welcome ourselves to our new little home. Not only is Chuck knowledgable, but he is also personable, and always took care of the house as if it were his own. He is responsible, always clean and tidy, uses extra drop cloths just because, leaves each day with the house as tidy as it was when he arrived, always takes the extra time to ask if he can leave his equipment, and when he does, it is always neat and "out of the way". He takes into consideration that we have a toddler who just might want to touch everything. Furthermore, on occasion he helped us bring the mail in, helped us receive packages from UPS, and even took out the trash and came back later to retrieve the garbage can. So he is a great guy... but how is his handiwork? Phenomenal! I witnessed him with saws and tools and levels, going about his day installing windows and doors for us -- amazing artistry work, a true artist. Here is a summary of some of the touches he put to our house, and and by doing so, he made it even better. - Enlarged and replaced windows, along with new insulation - Replaced front door along with finishing all edges and insulation - Painted bedrooms, living room, basement -- all impeccably done - Remove kitchen cabinets, sink, dishwasher, countertops, then re-grouted and tiled the missing spots on the floor - Replace floor moulding/shoe moulding - Repair water damage (wall, ceiling) - Emergency valve repair -- he made time to come by the house on a day he was working elsewhere, and on the coldest of days in February. I was in a frenzied, meltdown mode, completely distraught, because we now had a new swimming wading pool on the basement floor. He stopped by to fix the leak, and also fixed the valves later on. On one of these days he also took the time to educate me on the valves and the way each one works on each of the utility units. - Removed and replaced 3 toilets - Installed light fixtures (including chandelier) - Installed Lutron Caseta smart light switches - Installed recessed lights in kitchen (so beautiful! Photo attached) - Installed motion sensor faucet - Installed mailbox including digging the hole, securing with post cement, then took extra measure to affix and seal all edges with extra screws and silicone - Installed heavy bag mount - Referred HVAC professional to install 2 smart thermostats and run c wire If you are reading this review, and still considering whether to reach out to Talex or someone else, delay no more and go for Talex! Yes, I would go to him for future house projects if you don't, because we do highly recommend him!"
