Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. "My wife and I purchased a home from Curtis in Port Neches . In less than a year we have had to remodel both bathrooms , replace a refrigerator that we were told was new , had to have cracks in the sheet rock fixed throughout ceilings and walls , completely redo a pool that we were told was just refinished only to find out he patched himself and painted . We have found ceramic tiles that only had mortar around the edges and no mortar under . The living room and kitchen were made an open concept and no beam in the ceiling was added . Electrical sockets not working randomly throughout the house . Bay doors from our room to the back patio leak. This has caused my wife and I a ton of stress after the repairs of leaking pipes in the guest bathroom we will be at nearly 50,000 dollars in repairs we have taken on in a house that were were told was taken down to studs and remodeled will everything new by Curtis himself . He was cordial in the beginning and offered knowledge then quit returning calls . I wouldn’t hire Curtis or his company for ANYTHING !"
