"I've used them for several years to maintain a midsized suburban lawn. The current fee for this is $165 monthly. The crews show up on time, are courteous, and do a good job, but there are improvements the company could make. Even though the fee is billed monthly, in December and part of January there is no service. The lawn is dormant, but if I'm paying monthly, I expect some kind of yard maintenance that could be done during the winter in return. I've also had spotty service fixing lawn irrigation issues, and the staff is not well trained about limiting damage or cleanup issues to the home related to their work. Leaf blower use damages the siding and removes topsoil, and edge trimming often sprays mud up onto the walls, which must be cleaned up frequently. I think they rely too much on leaf blowers instead of using rakes in areas where the blowers create problems. The company has never asked for my feedback about their service and how it could be improved."

"This is another of many projects we have used Artistic Landscape for (as well as our yard maintenance). We were having issues with water in our yard as well as the water making it's way into our crawlspace. The job kept getting pushed back time wise due to all of the crazy weather we had this winter and other jobs piling up. A bummer but I totally understand that and don't blame them for mother nature. This was the biggest project we have had them do so far but it went well as usual. They removed our old wooden deck, regraded the dirt (mud) that was under the deck and replaced with an exposed concrete patio. In doing that they needed to replace a section of our irrigation. Unfortunately somewhere in the process of prepping or pouring the concrete that section of irrigation ended up with a leak in the water lines that were under the concrete patio. Robert had his guys add that zone onto another zone eliminating the leaky zone. This wasn't my favorite option as the zone now shares water with my veggie garden but I understand the dilemma considering our challenging yard. The concrete was poured on a very hot day and ended up with spider cracked all over but they promptly came out and filled in those cracks for us. From what I have read this is a very common problem with large concrete pours on hot days. When you are limited based on cement truck/pump truck/weather/schedules/etc you don't always get ideal conditions. Anyway once the project finally got started things were moving along and all of the guys were great to work with, very hard working too. We asked them to also set some posts for hammocks and for a fort build we were planning. Another great job!"

"The owner Jonatan was terrific to work with! He was very patient when we had a change order with the project as to the size and shape of the paver patio. This caused the project to take longer, but this was due to our decision to change the size and shape of the patio. Jonatan answered all of my questions very thoroughly and responded quickly. He is professional, courteous and and treats customers with great respect. Our paver patio looks beautiful and it's a wonderful addition to our home! I would not hesitate to hire him again for any additional paver projects or to refer him to family or friends."

"We hired System Pavers to replace our front entry patio and walkway. The crew worked extremely hard, but seemed rushed at times. The quality overall is good, but a little more attention to the smaller finish details could have been paid (evenness of brick border, finish on edge of bricks, better application and cleanup of grouting sand, recommendations for surrounding drainage). Overall, happy with results, but really have had no follow-up from project team."

"We went from a grass and weed backyard with a 10x10 cracked concrete slab to a beautiful backyard with a 660sqft paver patio. He and his team completed the work in about a week. He also allowed us to complete some work ourselves to save money. Fantastic.

Small jobs welcome

"A true perfectionist. Wonderful workmanship. Corrected errors of the original paver installers and added new square footage to my existing patio. Also leveled my hot tub with a color matching concrete pad. Wonderful workmanship and pleasant personality. Highly recommend Luna Masonary for any paver/masonary."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Beaverton, OR

The recommended interval for paver maintenance varies based on several factors, including climate conditions, usage patterns, and sealant type. Most surfaces benefit from resealing every two to five years, with more frequent attention needed in harsh environments or high-traffic areas.

Properties with significant tree coverage or water exposure may require more regular maintenance. Annual inspection allows homeowners to identify emerging issues before they require extensive intervention.

Professional service providers offer several advantages, including specialized equipment calibrated for optimal application rates, thorough preparation techniques, and experience identifying underlying issues that might affect sealant performance.

Technicians understand product compatibility with different paver materials and can recommend appropriate solutions for specific conditions. The efficiency and precision of professional application often results in more consistent coverage and potentially longer-lasting protection compared to first-time DIY efforts.

Optimal timing for paver sealing projects depends primarily on weather conditions rather than specific calendar dates. The application requires consistently dry conditions with moderate temperatures, between 50°F and 85°F.

Spring and fall often provide ideal conditions in many regions, avoiding both excessive heat that causes rapid drying and cold temperatures that inhibit proper curing. The surface must be completely dry before application, requiring several consecutive precipitation-free days beforehand.

Initial drying times vary by product type and environmental conditions. Most water-based sealants become touch-dry within two to four hours but require 24 to 48 hours before supporting normal foot traffic.

Solvent-based products need slightly longer initial drying periods but may develop full hardness more quickly. Factors like humidity, temperature, and air circulation significantly influence drying rates. For vehicle traffic or furniture placement, manufacturers recommend waiting at least 48 to 72 hours to ensure complete curing.
