"We were having my Mom's roof replaced. I do not live in the area and Rick was very accommodating to our situation. He was very honest about what needed to be done. His team did a great job."

"Mr. Vadella and his team were very professional. They are a team that works one job at a time, so they are not lingering around for months trying to get a small job done. They were as tidy as they could be and cleaned up after themselves. He even offered to paint the "new" wall so that I wouldn't have to do it later. Very respectful of my home. I will be using them again in the future for other renovations. <br />"

"The auto transport service provided by United Freight of America is an A+++ organization! I reserved the covered auto transport truck and boy, is that truck fancy! It has lifts that raise and lower to load your vehicle inside, to keep it clear from the elements. I needed them to transport my deceased brother's vehicle to me in Texas- that car is my heart now as my brother cherished it so! I needed a quality company- one that I could trust and most of all, rely on to get the vehicle to me in pristine condition. They did just that! And, I don't want to forget the Driver as well as he could not have been more professional. I HIGHLY recommend this auto transport company. I don't know that I have seen a classier auto transport company. Call them :-)"

"Mr. T is just fantastic!!! I have used Anthony for approximately 5 years as my go to home improvement contractor. He has done all the recent work for our house including repairing the chimney, building the stone retaining wall, pouring concrete steps, building a fence, gate, and handrail. He even redid the drain running through the yard, and then ripped out the old broken sidewalk to pour an entire new one about 40ft long. Anthony is very professional and curtious, the only contractor I will recommend and use for my needs."

"Design Your Basement is an amazing service that's helping us finish our basement, so that our family can enjoy our entire house. The design process was fast and seamless. The team at Design Your Basement provides great customer service and helped us identify design opportunities that we never would have thought to include. Not long after contacting Design Your Basement, the professionals were there to measure our basement. In no time at all, they had design ready for our review, which was based on our feedback. We enjoyed our design presentation meeting and it was easy to make the changes we wanted from the initial draft design. In addition, the 3D walk-through made it easy to envision how the basement will look before anything was done. Contractors from Design Your Basement are now helping us with framing and consulting with us on DIY portions of the project. We strongly recommend Design Your Basement."

"John is not only very prompt and particular about his work but has excellent taste. We were so pleased with the quality and look of the work he did that we've continued to have him do additional projects for us. We have an old Victorian home which can be quite the contracting challenge in many areas, but John seems to embrace a challenge and has easily fixed, repaired or remodeled every area we've needed addressed. He is extremely conscientious and serious about his work. I was even able to trust in him to pick out colors and items/designs for me when I could not do so myself or if color pallets were inaccurate. He has excellent taste and his work reflects a very high end result. We're anxious to work with him on our next project! <br />"

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Belle Vernon, PA

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
