"Tom and his team helped me with a deck installation. His team were highly skilled and professional on this project. I also appreciated their candor Tom only quoted for labor and helped me to procure the material required for the deck install. He even transported some of the material from the lumber yard to my house at no cost (As we needed more material). As the old deck was rotting and we needed to change much more lumber than was anticipated Tom did not charge me anything extra for his efforts. They went above and beyond my expectation on this project. Tom also kept me and my wife informed about the schedule on this project. It was completed on time and within budget. "They did a good job of installing the openers and explaining their features and how to set up all the proper codes. There was a small problem with the installation where one of the brackets was pinching an electrical wire and causing it to short out. But after we had an electrician out to figure out the problem, T&C agreed it was a mistake and paid the electrician's invoice. Everyone we deal with was very friendly."

I was astounded when after he finished, he sat down and gave me a full tutorial on using the system. He showed me all of it's capabilities, and answered my many questions . I could not believe how much easier and more up to date this security system was to use than my old one. I have had many, many technicians in my home from the prior system, but absolutely none were as knowledgeable, personable, efficient or professional as Larry. He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. This job involved new construction for both doors so I wanted the installer to arrive earlier than 10:00.   I talked to several individuals at the company but could not get any help on this issue.  I even asked to speak with the owner but the said he was out of town. The excuse was that the installer had to go to the warehouse to get the doors before going to a customers house. Not a good reason to me.  Every major thing I've done to my home the installers had to pick up the materials before coming to my house and they were at 8:00.  The installer arrived on time and had every thing he needed to do the job.  The front door was installed in about 3/12 hours with out damage to my walls or molding.  He cleaned up very well around the inside and outside of the house.  The side door was installed in about the same amount of time.  There was some damage to the drywall around the door on the inside of the house and the installer did not caulk around the molding like he did the front door.

When I called the company about it they gave me a hard time about sending someone out to patch the holes because I signed the paper work.  The second person I talked to said someone was coming out the next day but instead I got a phone call saying I should not have signed the paper work.  I explained to her that I understood that but the holes were put there by the installer and they should repair them. I told her I had pictures so she had me email them to her. When no one called me back I called them again they were still trying not to send some one out. When I told Roz that the money for the doors was being provided by a grant and I was not going to approve final payment until the holes were fixed she arranged for someone to come out the next day.  It took the guy 15min to patch the holes and caulk around the door.   

I asked for the owner to give me a call because I wanted to talk to about their customer service but have yet to hear from him.
