"Billy work great with us, providing a unique front landscape design for our newly constructed home. He was very flexible incorporating our thoughts on our plants along with his design. He and his crew completed the landscape, rain gutter drainage pipe to keep water away from the house and did a complete lawn irrigation system using the lake water for supply. He worked jointly with us and our neighbor for some joint water drainage. We have had numerous people asking who did our landscaping as it has good curb appeal. In spite of the corrosion and difficulty in removing the old fixture and installing the new one, Mr. Barrett never lost his patience and continued to work on the fixture at a time when most plumbers probably would have given up and tried to sell me lots of expensive new piping. I used Handyman Barrett for the first time just one week ago for an entirely different project, and I will certainly call him again for any home projects."

Aim for spring or early fall when daytime temps hover between 55°F and 80°F. Mild weather and consistent moisture help the roots knit quickly. Laying sod in midsummer can stress the grass, while frozen winter soil blocks rooting altogether. 

If you must install outside the ideal window, budget extra time for watering and tending to the turf. Choosing the right season makes the job easier and the lawn tougher.
