"We contacted Dakota and Southern Brothers Landscape Design to get a quote on remodeling our landscaping in Huntington at Safety Harbor. He showed up on time and brought his entire crew with him. He was my second quote and we walked the property while discussing expectations. He gave a fair price and could start immediately after agreeing. My lawn was serviced the same day and looked great. We discussed our future project of replacing old sod with new sod along with new azaleas. He quoted another fair price and we agreed to do the upgrade. The new sod looks great and cut good around the corners and green. His team dug out an old tree and replaced with new azaleas. The new azaleas on both sides of front door were planted in a strategic direction to bring the best look. Also completed new brown mulch on all the beds on the property with expert mulching. "Needed sod and pea gravel installed for our backyard. Also our existing sprinkler system was broken. Steven called and set up an appointment for a quote. He was courteous, professional, and on time. Other (pros?) from home advisor didn’t even call, or were late/no show for quotes. We hired Cali Palms and are very happy with the service, follow up, and overall experience. Steven did everything he said he’d do, and provided samples prior to installing. We had an issue with one sprinkler head, and he personally came out the next morning and fixed it. Project was done on time, price was fair, and it looks beautiful. I would definitely hire again!"

"I had Sampson Land Care out to get a quote for some sod work and also to have a tree trimmed. I am very happy with my experience. As far as the sod work, it was to fix a horrible job done by another company. I thought that all of the sod would need to be ripped out and new sod laid. Walter gave me 3 options. 1 included ripping up the old sod but he advised me that it wasn't necessary to go that drastic. So he also gave me 2 cheaper options and said for me to decide what I thought would be best for me. It's rare to find someone that honest to offer up cheaper options. He could easily have just quoted me for ripping up the old sod even though it did not need to be done. I was pleasantly surprised. As far as the tree trimming, it was also a great experience. He cut it based on our HOA standards and it was sufficient, but I really wanted a little more cut off because the part over my drive-way had been annoying me. Walter could tell that I wanted something else done, so he asked. (I felt bad asking, because he had technically already cut the required amount.) But he was fine with cutting more off for me and didn't charge anything extra... As an added bonus, he also cleaned out my gutters while he was here. (He noticed them while walking the property looking at the sod.) This was something extra he did, he did not charge me any extra. I have a very small section of gutters, but they were pretty bad and had not been done in years, due to some medical issues that I have had. He was happy to help because he knows the importance of it. (even I know the damage that was bound to happen but there wasn't anything I could really do.) So from start to finish, I was pleasantly surprised with his willingness to go above and beyond. I highly recommend this company. And will also be having him do yard work for me in the future. (And pressure wash my house, because he does that also.)"
