"Randy responded to my request for someone who would put a paver patio in my backyard. He was professional from start to finish. He kept me informed about the schedule. He worked steadily until the job was done. He was respectful with a good positive attitude. His work was methodical and unhurried and now I have a perfectly awesome patio. I highly recommend Randy as a worker. He certainly is good with pavers."

"Shortly after completing installation of the paver patio, an intense rain storm overwhelmed the drainage system for the patio and roof downspout. Brian was not satisfied with the situation so he arrived the next day and built additional drainage capacity. He accepted the responsibility without complaint and did not ask for any reimbursement for the additional work. I was very happy to have hired Three Rivers Masonry."

"We had a really great experience from the start. When the company came out to quote the project, they took as much time as needed to explain the job they planned to do, go over options and decision points, and answer all questions we had. We had a quote before they left the property. The quote itself, although not the cheapest we got, was competitive with the other quotes we received. Once agreed upon, the job was scheduled quickly. The crew was extremely professional. They showed up on time and were respectful of the property and our requests. During the job, it was found some additional repairs were needed due to water ingress from prior roof failures. The additional scope was explained well, handled gracefully and transparently. All repairs were done correctly and professionally and match the aesthetic of the house. After completion, the crew did a great job of cleaning up the job. The end results look very nice and I can remove roof worries from my mind for quite some time. I would certainly hire this company again."

FAQs for brick or stone tuck pointing projects in Bend, OR

Masons charge between $70 and $110 per hour. A mason may have a minimum service fee ranging from $80 to $300. Most bricklayers offer free estimates and charge only if you proceed with the project. This clear pricing model assures that professionals inspect your property before beginning work and charge based on your project’s actual requirements.

A professional repointing lasts 20 to 30 years without maintenance and extends up to 50 years when maintained diligently. This process protects your brickwork using high-quality materials that ensure lasting performance and durability. Consistent upkeep preserves its strength and appearance, providing enduring protection and enhancing your home’s overall structural integrity for decades.

You know your house needs repointing when you notice clear signs such as cracked, flaking, or missing mortar and visible discoloration on the brick surfaces. Additional indicators include loose bricks, water damage, and gaps between the brick joints that compromise the overall integrity of the structure. Addressing these issues promptly protects your investment and sustains the durability and curb appeal of your home.

A house needs repointing to preserve both its structural integrity and visual appeal. Mortar acts as a vital bonding agent that holds the bricks securely together. When the mortar deteriorates, it exposes the structure to water infiltration and further decay, increasing the risk of costly repairs. Repointing stops decay and reinforces the exterior, ensuring long-term protection.
