"I had Majid replace my fence and build a pergola last year. Since then, some of the pressure treated wood 4x4s have begun to split and the concrete that was used to support the 4x4s was starting to crumble. He also had the fence built and attached to the building which is not supposed to happen! When I had the siding replaced and painted, we had to REBUILD the fence portions that were ATTACHED to the house/garage, which was a huge pain. Both of these issues indicated that the products he used and the techniques he used are not great quality. The contractor I hired to do the siding/painting expressed concern regarding the structural integrity of the pergola - NO bracing brackets had been installed, and at least one of the 8x8 redwood posts was installed already warped. "My wife and I found Onsite on the internet and had a meeting with the owner to discuss what we would envision for our front yard. This was going to be a major change to what we had. We felt the price discussed was in order and I told my wife even though you thought it might be a little less money I reminded her that this was going to be a lot more work than she realized. I come from a construction background and new this was no over night job. As a matter of fact it took two months. The company crew is outstanding and work as hard as any body you have ever hired to do anything for you. The finished job really exceeds what we envisioned.
