The quote was a little higher than the over-the-phone estimates I received from a few other companies but we prefer not to use larger franchise companies for home repairs. When we decided to move forward with Bob's Home Repair, he scheduled us about 3-4 weeks out. He called the next week and said he could fit us in much earlier. He contracted the work out to a man ( I can't remember his name) who spoke very highly of Bob and his business. The man was very friendly and did great work. He was thorough and polite and made sure to communicate with us about what repairs he made. He gave us some pointers in regard to the repairs that will be very helpful when we replace our roof down the road. He had to use a roof jack because our roof is very steep and there is not much traction with our older shingles. He sealed up any holes that he had to make to install the roof jack. He made sure to answer all of our questions and was pleasant to deal with. The dormer window now looks better than it did when we bought the house 8 months ago. <br />"
