"For the record, building a home may be the most traumatic time during a marriage. The good people at Renaissance helped to make it bearable. At the beginning, Brandon, the owner, took us through the options, making us aware of the things that would be in budget, and warn us of those things that might blow the budget.  He offered good insight into some minor changes in the already fabulous design to further our end goal. <br /> Once the contracts were signed, the office genius, Cris, took charge, and as decisions on colour, trim, fixtures, etc., came up, she was there to organize. With a great eye for colour and aesthetics, she, along with my wife and I, made the choices that have awed all who have entered the new house! <br /> During the construction, the construction manager Sam kept a watchful eye on everything. My wife and I pretty much were on site for at least a short period every day during construction, since we lived nearby. I'm sure Sam would leave rolling his eyes from the questions and comments we would make while he was on site. He was very patient with us. Things that I, as the owner, was ready to overlook, Sam was not. A better foreman you could never find. <br /> I chose Renaissance Homes initially on an omen. The omen was dead on.
