"Maybe they do amazing work, I have no idea. I called 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and submitted requests for estimates twice. I spoke with someone 2 or 3 times on the phone and each time I was either told to go submit a request on the website or that he remembered my note and would go find it and email me with a time to set up an appointment asap. It never went any farther than that. If you are too busy or have other things going on and can't respond, that's totally understandable but please just say so so I don't waste my time. I'm rating a C b/c I'm going on the assumption that SOMETHING was going on that would legitimately explain this otherwise inexcusable behavior."

"Good communications, professional, and responsive. I am impressed! <br /> GFC communicated with me via email and phone in advance. The crew lead was professional and communicated as expected 20 minutes before arrival. They ground, patched, and coated the garage floor with primer the first day. They applied the color coat and flecks the next day. They came back and applied the clear coats the next day. Each day they cleaned up after themselves leaving almost no trace. It was starting to get cold out, so they shut my garage door almost all the way down to the ground to conserve heat in the garage. They also covered the opening with plastic to retain heat and keep out rain/snow while allowing the coating that extended outside the garage to dry. The odor was very strong. Even though they taped up the inside garage door with plastic, some of the odor still got into the house. Couldn't be helped I suppose. There was one issue with part of the garage floor that remained sticky, but they came out right away the next day and took care of it. <br /> Overall, I'm very impressed with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them. -Jonathan... <br />"

"My wife and I are extremely pleased with the end result of this project. It looks so good. The epoxy coating on the parameter foundation blocks and the concrete step to the house ads a perfect touch to the new clean look. I can now sweep the floor without dealing with concrete chips, dust, rough surface and cracks. We are also extremely pleased with the entire process of the project, including inspection and estimate, work scheduling, work completion and final inspection and satisfaction follow up. Terry, Ron, the lead workman and partner were all great to work with. I told the workmen the reason I chose Great Garage Floors was that they had done a neighbors garage floor 5 years ago and I really liked the job that was done and how well it was holding up. The lead workman told me he had done that job too. I could sense his pride that he takes in doing excellent work. The cost was competitive and obviously much less than doing a full concrete floor replacement."

"This was the third contractor we hired in a year and by far the best.  The crew was ready for our project two days earlier than expected.  Fine with us since it was late September and Minnesota weather can make concrete work a bit dicey at that time of year.  The crew removed the existing sidewalk, which was badly pitted, cracked and upheaved.  They took great care when removing the sidewalk and steps adjoining the house so as not to damage or mar the foundation.  They made sure we had access inside the house at all times.  The crew did a superb job of cutting away the blacktop next to the garage so the concrete apron could be poured, resulting in an even, level finished product.  I observed one of the crew as he worked next to the house with the wet cement and witnessed him use his finger to wipe away concrete that had splashed on the foundation.  My husband and I wanted a patio slab with a "wow factor," which is why we chose this contractor, given the work he does with stamped concrete.  We're not disappointed.  The stamping resembles a wood grain floor and the color complements the stucco exterior of the house and garage. The combined effects make the slab stand out and everyone who's seen it, whether in person or photos, has told us how much they like the look.  Overall, I feel the contractor and his crew (yes, even the owner of the company showed up to get his hands dirty!) were extremely competent and cognizant about every detail.  The sidewalks have the proper slope, allowing water to run off and not pool.  The crew was minimally invasive to our yard and plants.  They cleaned up after themselves, leaving no debris or litter behind, and they finished the job in eight days.  Makes me look forward to shoveling snow this winter!!"
