"Taylor and Mike performed the service call. They were following up after a previous issue, for which I had contacted the company, had recurred. They were very professional and thorough in searching for the cause of the problem. Very courteous, explained everything they were doing to remedy the problem. Will call them again if I have a plumbing issue."

"Great! Arrived promptly. Assessed what needed to be done & quoted price. I felt the price was reasonable & hired Greenwell Plumbing to go ahead & repair the leak. They were finished the same day. I definitely would hire the company again & would recommend them to family & friends."

"<p>The pipe originally broke in 2 places. As the team was packing up, it broke in 7 more places. They worked several hours late to ensure it was fixed correctly. We've used this company several times (waste disposal replacement, leaking tub, etc.) each time they have delivered excellent quality and customer service.</p> <br />"

"AquaProof gives 1st class service and quality It is rare for me to find a contractor that goes above and beyond my expectations. Danny and his team at AquaProof wildly exceeded them. My daughter recently bought a house in Covington built in 1890. The structural inspection showed a dire need to have the stacked rock wall fortified and waterproofed. Several companies in the foundation and structural repair business declined to bid on the jobdue to the complexity and risk involved. AquaProof knew exactly what to do and how to do it. The quote was fair and in line with other quotes that I’d received. What sold me on Aquaproof was their solution would give me better quality and security that the repair was done correctly The crew that did the work was amazing. There were glitches and unexpected problems but they knew how to resolve them; they did so at no additional cost even though to tool more time and materials. The communication and attention to detail during the two days of the job was excellent. When finished they went above and beyond by repairing the landscape. This is a good company with good people and excellent service. You should definitely consider them for what you need. Jim Murray"

"Six years ago I had 15 members of our family scheduled here for Thanksgiving dinner. It was the day before they were to arrive, and...the toilet stopped up. What to do?? I got out the Yellow Pages and started calling. Venhoff was the only plumber that answered. They came right out and the toilet was fixed in 30 minutes. I thought, well now, they will really charge me a high price because of the holiday. Not at all. They only charged me for the time they were here. I kept the bill, and when we needed a plumber here again today, I called them and they came right out. Again, the charges were really reasonable. What a find! A plumber who takes pride in their work and does a great job! <br>"

"Initially I was not happy with a salesman showing up to give me a quote for the installation of a new HVAC system for a rental property/condo. I just do not care for the salesman's pitch and promises/some that did not happen. Regardless hired Allgeier, based on a recommendation of a highly respected friend and was very happy with Matt, the thought he put into what should be done, and the installation (May 2020). Hard for me to gauge how well the new system is working since I rent the condo to a man of few words, that rarely tells me when there is an issue. My main complaint is I never get ANY booklets on the system installed or the warranty information. I have called David Shipley/sales several times. Talked to Chris (June 2020) who said they were behind on getting that info out and working on it, but, I would have it soon. Then I talked to( I think, her name was) Jennifer (July2020) who said she had the warranty information, on her desk and would mail it to me. She suggested I could down load the service manuals off the internet. I told her I paid $12000 for this system and did not think I should have to download the manuals. I have own several properties over the years and the warranty and manuals have always been supplied with the many many HVAC systems I have had installed. As of today Aug 13th, I have not received the information I requested from Allgeier."

"I have used Graham's Plumbing for several years and they provide consistently high quality service at a reasonable price. On this particular job, I needed a toilet installed. I had not replaced shut-off valves in the eight years that I have owned the property and know that over time they calcify and deteriorate; so I had them change out the valves before they went bad. Two of Sam's crew came out and completed the job in a couple of hours. They were courteous, as always, and cleaned up after themselves upon completion of the work. Graham's Plumbing has replaced a water heater for me on a rental property and shut-off valves at that property as well. They give you the option of getting the water heater or toilet from them or they will install one that you provide. <br />"

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Bethlehem, IN

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
