"The company had repaired leaks in my 1996 barrel tile roof after the 2005 hurricane season. Other leaks occurred with the recent hurricane, so I decided to go with a metal roof. I knew that barrel tile roofs do not prevent rain infiltration onto the underlayment, allowing water flows into valleys to erode the underlayment, causing the leaks and rot. The code underlayment quoted (2 separate layers) is more robust now, but I ordered at extra cost an even more robust underlayment. The company contact was more than helpful in arranging for "custom" installation. The installation team was meticulous in doing the custom work, very professional, the company contact checked in every day, my property was cleaner when they left, the office answered all my inquiries within 24 hours, a real homeowner-friendly contractor. If I lived further inland, I have no doubt I would have been equally happy with the standard installation."

"My husband and I are very pleased with the metal roof that Triple Crown put on our home. We got 3 different quotes, and even though Triple Crown wasn’t the cheapest, we decided to go with them because we’ve been around long enough to know that the cheapest and the best are rarely the same thing. "Went very well! Called Collis roofing at 10:45 am - roof repaired by 1:15 pm. Initially told I would be contacted in 24-48 hours but was called at noon and asked if they could stop by. "I would highly recommend Estrada Roofing. When I decided to use this company I put them to work even before cutting the first check. I live within an Association and before being able to start the work they required so much documentation in order to approve it. Anailyn Estrada worked with me from the beginning and got all the documentation I needed. I called or emailed Anailyn several times throughout and she was just as pleasant and polite as she was during the first call to the last. Jesus Estrada is also phenomenal. When he first gave me the estimate he had his son with him and was showing him the ropes. Jesus is reliable and gave me a feeling of trustworthiness and honesty from the beginning. He worked with me and my tight schedule to have my roof re-done understanding my insurance company had stated they would not renew my policy. Jesus also returned my calls timely and the job they did was great. His team of workers were polite and cleaned up the jobsite each day. I have an atrium and some of the removed shingles had fallen into it. During the job I noticed it and fully anticipated going into it later on the pick up the shingles. I did not have to, as the team dropped down into the atrium and cleaned it up before finishing. That was such a pleasant surprise. Even after the job was completed and I advised Jesus that my insurance company was requiring pictures of the new roof, he sent someone to take the pictures for me. Talk about customer service! He once said to me that his customers come first, and I believe that. I would highly recommend Estrada Roofing. I already have told family and friends and they are calling them for their roofing needs. So nice to find a company in Miami which such great professional service."

From the time they were contacted for a quote until the job was finished I was kept informed of every step of the process. Steve and his installation crew were respectful of the surrounding property, on time, patient with questions, and meticulous with their installation of the roof and repair of the chimney. After interviewing many contractors for this job my selection of Don Hickman Metal Roofs turned out to be 100% spot on. "Reef did a fantastic job in pressure cleaning our roof and walkways and most importantly in painting the exterior of our house. We had some detail work with accent colors and multiple areas that needed patching from other repairs. Reef did such a great job that the house looks brand new! Hector and Hector (the painters) were a joy to work with and they took great pride in their work. Highly recommended!"

"Oscar from Agramontes Painting was very amicable, punctual and accomodating. He had already packed everything into his truck to leave when my wife pointed out a small detail he missed. Without hesitation, he unloaded everything and touched up the spot. He did not leave a mess, which was most important for me. He left paint only where it was supposed to be! He did a considerable amount of repair work. Three other Angie's List top rated painters came out for an estimate. Only one of these three painters emailed an estimate for almost four times ($5,500) what Agramontes Painting charged. The other two gave me verbal estimates after they inspected my property, but never emailed me the estimate. Both wanted more than Agramontes Painting. None of them ever provided proof of insurance or contractor's license. I called two other painters, not on Angie's List, who did work for me before. One never called back. The other asked me to send photos of the house, which I did, but I never heard back from him. Doesn't seem like anybody needs the work! Times must be good! When Oscar came to see the house he gave me a written estimate on the spot and gave me copies of his insurance and license. I'm not an expert, but I cannot imagine the $5,500 job would look any better or last any longer than what I got for $1,500. Also, the other painters wanted me to move all kinds stuff out of the way, including a gazebo. Since they all asked me to move these, I asked Oscar if he wanted me to move these items. He said he would work around them and he did."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"This job was done in February 2017. I just discovered I never finished writing the review. So here it is 3 years later. First, doing this review now lets me tell you that our new metal roof made it through Hurricane Michael with flying colors. We had other storm damage ($25,000 worth) but the roof did fine. The job was done on schedule though interrupted by two afternoon heavy rain events. First class installation by a team that showed up on-time each morning, worked hard and got along well together. They were proud of their work and and cleaned up the site when done even using a magnetic sweeper to lift any roofing nails that might have fallen. The roof we chose was white which made our house really stand out over the gray siding and white trim. Moreover, our HVAC bills were lowered (I track it). Last, I want to tell you that Guyson are more than just roofers after your money. They are fine local people. Recently, my 94 year-old neighbor climbed on his roof to do some repairs. He fell off the roof onto a concrete pad and spent 5 days in intensive care. 20-some staples in his head, boot on his left leg and badly bruised ribs but super lucky to be alive. Needless to say, he's not going to get on the roof anytime soon. I get "the cat claws" when I'm on a pitched roof. So I called Guyson and when they heard the story they came out and looked at the job. Although they are swamped and this is a small job they're gonna do finish the repair anyway. God love 'em. BTW, my neighbor's fall is how I found out I never finished this review I started in 2017."
