"<p>I am a single woman and I don't know any contractors.  I was worried about finding a contractor I could trust.  I found Powers Interior Contracting through Angie's List.  I needed an upstairs loft converted into an insulated bedroom with a door.  Joe Powers came out and bid the project with a thorough and reasonable bid which I received within a week of his first visit.  This was a smaller project for Joe and he worked it in between other jobs and finished the project in two and half weeks.  He was very professional, kind, helpful, trustworthy, punctual, a good communicator and he did an outstanding job on the project.  Everything went as I had expected.  The room turned out great.  He matched the paint and the texture of the walls to the existing living room such that you cannot tell the upper room used to be a loft.  He is a really talented craftsman.  He did an excellent job cleaning up the work site before he left.</p> The project couldn't have gone any smoother and I couldn't be happier with the finished product.  I would definitely use Joe Powers' services again and I highly recommend him for interior contracting work. <br />"

"I originally hired Carlos to install some new vanity tops and sinks and to repair and paint my deck. I was preparing my house for sale. After discussing with my agent the list of things to do grew substantially. Carlos stepped up and ended up taking on all the work. He (and his crew) removed popcorn ceiling, painted walls, ceilings, stair bannisters, cabinet doors, front door, steps and he installed a new vanity, tiled, fixed plumbing issues, fixed electrical issue with switches, repaired and installed blinds. Caulked and sealed and even removed a dead rodent in the crawl space! He did all this in a VERY tight timeline as I needed to get the house on the market. He worked long hours and when little stuff cropped up her came back to fix or change. He is polite, responsive and professional. He kept me informed of what he found and any needed changes and provide receipts for supplies quickly. I gave him a key and I was very comfortable with him working when I was at work. All in all a very good experience and I will use him again."

"Had extensive dry rot on exterior of my home. Once dry rot trim was removed, additional damaged areas were discovered. They explained the process and the additional areas that need replacement. Each day, I would receive a written update and discussion so that I would be aware of everything ahead of time. They had to create some custom trim to match existing style. Once all rotted trim and boards were replaced, they painted all exterior trim and replaced boards. Everything blended perfectly. Workers kept everything cleaned up before leaving each day. After pressure washing and painting, everything looks great. Job took 4 days. Very happy with the results."
