The scope and cost of carpentry work escalated unexpectedly, I approved an additional $5000 in carpentry repairs. Zero communication until they stop work and tell me it's $17,000, so far. Months have gone by, I have never received accurate invoices or a breakdown of costs. The last one claims to have done work that they obviously didn't do. The contractor left a big piece of equipment on my property and has gone radio silent. This experience has been fraught with miscommunication, overcharging, and unprofessionalism. I would not hire this firm again."
