"Oscar was wonderful to work with. He came out, accessed the job. Gave us a extremely reasonable written estimate detailing all work to be done. He and his team were very personable and polite. Their worked steadily to complete job and cleaned up the same day. They repaired water leak damage in ceiling. Primed and painted ceilings in LR/DR. Painted two coats on Walls with color change. Painted trim. They cleaned up all their trash and materials. Leaving a very neat space that looked amazing. We highly recommend Oscar and his team for any painting work. As a matter of fact, he will be doing some additional painting on another project for us. Great guy!! Impeccable work ethic!!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Bloomingdale, GA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
