Jason Cloninger, President of Dixon Construction and Realty, is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology with a concentration in Construction and a minor in Business. In 2018 he was appointed to the Catawba Valley Home Builders Association Board of Directors. In 2012 he was awarded an Excellence in Remodeling Award by Catawba County Remodeling Association. In 2018 he was appointed to the Catawba County Planning Board Subdivision Review Committee, and is currently serving his fourth term in that position. Jason is focused on Green Construction and in 2009 was awarded the distinction of NAHB Certified Green Building Professional, and he received a lead-based paint remediation license. Before coming to work with Dixon Construction, he developed his skills for managing construction projects for large home builders. He competed in the Greensboro Parade of Homes in 2006 with a luxury home he both designed and built, and won "Gold" in the competition. Jason also won a number of awards such as Builder of the Month in 2005 for the most homes built on budget, on schedule, with 100% customer satisfaction for DR Horton, one of the largest home builders in the country, and a Fortune 500 company. After two years in the Army, he assumed a loan officer position with the Farmers Home Administration. Working nearly 40 years as the Catawba County Supervisor for USDA, and FMHA, he facilitated providing funds to build homes, to buy, develop and operate farms. Other funding projects included funding fire stations, child care/senior care facilities, water and sewer systems, various other public projects and business loans. Each project or loan maintained or created jobs.

We also specialize in replacing shingle roofs. We don't stop there, we also install deck flooring along with handrails and columns made of all types of materials. Once we have installed your siding and other trim then we go ahead and paint/stain anything that we have installed for you or that has already been installed for an additional price. Ruben Construction has been operating since 2005 with Ruben Chacon being the owner with over 20 years of experience on the field. You can rest assure that we are going to make sure that the proper installation guidelines are met because he has the field experience that other contractors don't have.
